"Brijitskular .." she said softly, looking at the dragon in the center. She placed her hand on his leg, but made no motion to take the necklace. "Reeve .. this is .. stunning. How can I possibly accept this .. I .." she stopped talking and leaned her forehead on his shoulder.

Reeve paused for a moment. He had always thought taking things was far more simple than giving them. "Ziven... do you not want it? It is okay if you do not..." He smiled a bit.

"It is beautiful .. the trouble is not a matter of want, I would be honored to accept such a stunning gift .. only that I do not believe I deserve such an amazing .." she trailed off to silence, not wanting to finish her thought. Gently she wrapped her hands around his arm, hugging him.

Reeve nuzzled her a bit, setting the necklace down on his lap. "Ziven, you have shown me more kindness than anyone has since I lost my parents. You understand me... And here you are, holding me like I have only imagined someone would do in my life." He gently ran his fingers on her leg, considering she was holding his arm. With his other hand he touched her face. "In my opinion, you deserve more. That which I offer is not but an symbol of my feelings for you."

"You are too kind to me. I will accept then .. I understand now." she said softly, looking up at him. It was not often that she received any gift, let alone one so special. "I have never been offered such a priceless gift before."

Reeve smiled slightly as he picked up the necklace once again. "May I put it on you?" As he spoke he ran his hand along the chain, looking for a clasp.

He found the clasp after a moment and released it, then gently ran his hands up her arm and to her soulder. From her shoulder he put his hand to the back of her neck and began to put the necklace onto her. It took a moment, the tiny clasp being hard for Reeve, but he soon got it. Slowly he moved back, smiling. "Do you like it?"

Feeling shivers run through her as he ran his fingers along her arm to find her neck, she smiled and resisted the urge to move. Once the clasp was secured, she looked down at the gem, gently picking it up from her chest between her finger and thumb, admiring the beauty of it. Turning her attention back to Reeve, she smiled. "Very much. Many thanks."

"It is my pleasure." Reeve said with a smile. Gently he put his arms around her to hug her, kissing her lightly on the head. The sun had begun to come up.

Smiling merrily, she marveled as the gem seemed to glow, she looked down at it again. As she did, she leaned against him again. "Why does this change color? When does the change occur?" she asked quietly, very curious about this and his actions. "Indeed, a new day has begun. Is it time to part ways?"

"As I said, it changes color depending on the person. i am not entirely sure why... I believe my mother once said it reflects what is in a person's heart and soul at that moment." reeve said as he pulled back a bit, not really letting her go. "I do not think so, but soon I must search for Kain again... I have time to stay though."

"Would you like help searching for Kain?" she asked quietly, feeling that he was pulling away slightly. She rather squeaked as the gem took on a blue hue. "It appears to have changed to blue." she said to him before letting the gem go an looking up at him, again raising her fingers curled over to his cheek and gently resting her fingers on his cheek. "I wish for you to be well and I believe finding Kain is necessary to do so. If you do not wish for me to join you, I understand so long as you know I would be happy to help."

"Help is not required." Reeve said with a smile. "Besides, he is probably hiding somewhere dangerous, and you have no idea how angry I would be with myself if you got hurt..." He gently grabbed the hand that was on his face and kissed it.

A thrilling surge of emotions washed over her with the sensation of her hand being kissed and the words he said to match his action. A look of compassion shown in her eyes and love through the smile on her lips. "Yes, actually I believe I do have an idea." she said sounding rather breathless. Her clothes flowed with a stronger force than earlier in the evening as she carefully but confidently lifted herself to kiss his forehead and then his lips again, wrapping her arm around his waist.
