He frowns, looking down at the minnows nipping at his toes. "Tobias said I should learn to feed myself as wolves and foxes do...but I'm not a fox. Or a wolf." He looks at Seph with plaintive confusion compounded by the February-cold water lapping at his knees.
"You're the first other boy I've ever seen, you know that? Tobias wouldn't think it smart for me to trust you. Mom probably wouldn't either..."

Seph found the irony in the boy's statement, but gave no indication that he recognized it.
"Well, unfortunately for we humans, finding food isn't the end of the adventure. You also need to learn how to build a proper fire and how to remove the scales, fur, feathers, or whatever else may be between you and the meat. But those are all lessons best taught, and being that it's nighttime, and close to my bedtime, teaching them is something I can do tomorrow."
He paused for a moment. "Yes, it seems lately that most of the inhabitants of this academy prefer to keep to themselves, doesn't it?" The statement was more of a rhetorical question. "Seeing that you've just met me, it probably would be unwise for you to trust me. And there's nothing I can do about that right now. But I am about to make food, and if you'd like me to taste it first, I wouldn't take offense."

He wades out of the pond, giving simple wisdom for one of his very inexperienced years. "I think if anyone here wanted me dead, I'd have bean eaten or killed by now." Wringing out his socks, he makes a thoughtful face, then adds, "Well, maybe not the girl. I could take her if my sword weren't so heavy." He frowns as he slips his socks and sandals back on, realizing that it did a metric amount of nothing as his trousers were still wet.

"Speaking of that weapon, where did you get it?" Seph flicked the ash off the end of his cigarette, then replaced it back between his lips.

"My mother," Dalcon explains. "Mom said it's my birthright." He looks over at the weapon, lying on the bank in its extended, two handed, war form with Tobias watching over it. "I've never seen my sword like this- do you know what that man- I guess he was the Headmaster- did to it?"

"You'd have to ask him. Some of the things he does only he knows what they're for. Or what they do, for that matter." He eyed the sword. "Well, grab it and let's get a move on, eh? I hope you like chicken, because that's really all I'm good at cooking."

"I don't want to ask him. He'll eat me. Chicken sounds a lot better than pondfish..." He bows, murmuring an apology to Tobias before straining under the weight of the sword again. "Lead the way, Seph."

"Nah, at the very worst, he'll just nibble on your toes." He stretched, then nodded, burning the spent cigarette as he flicked it away. "Chicken it is, m'boy!"
((I think I better roll out, now. It's getting harder and harder to read the screen! D= ))

As Ishira walked into the dojo something sparked her attention. Ally wasnt around, she couldnt feel her anywaywhere... "Crap, what happened this time?" She was sure Neko hadnt sent her on an assignment, with the way those two had been... Ishira let out a large sigh, it had to have happened when she was gone? Of all the things that could happen. She continued to walk through the dojo, noting the new energies around it and the ones that were missing. "Tutsumi..."
Ishira went to her room and pulled the blanket off as she pulled out one of her finer dresses. She had no choice, her tunic was covered in blood... She hated these dresses, though they were light and easy to move in, they were filled with little jems here, and little jems there. Ishira felt out of place wearing it now... Her students were gone... Again she sighed, maybe she could ask one of the other Senseis to teach her a few things.

Mai stood behind her sensei when he didn't say anything to her , and she frowned. The fox had seemingly grown attached to Mai while he had dissapeared on them, and now Mai was getting taller and well , more womanly. Her smile had faded though when he had ignored her.

-=Neko walks from his office, into the kitchen to get some tea. After making a cup, he heads out to the porch and leans against the railing to watch the forest. After a few moments, Motoko walks past him, headed into the treeline. She turns before entering and looks back at Neko. After a moment, they both nod at each other, and Motoko disappears with a flicker, and Neko takes a small sip of his tea, closing his eyes as he remained on the porch=-

Ishira walked out of her room and once again headed outside. As she walked out she covered her eyes and looked to the sun. It was a bright day, something that was good for her. She smiled and then noticed Neko.
"Good morning.." She said, bowing lightly as a show of respect. Her fingers started to figit with the small jems on her white dress, as she wondered if she should ask him what happened.

Morning'
-=Neko looked back at Ishira with a small smile and a nod as he looked her over briefly, turning back to the forest to sip on his tea=-
That's an awfully nice dress to wear this far out in the boonies. Expecting company?

Ally sat against a tree, with a bit of blood on her shirt. It didn't seem like it had come from her though. She had her eyes closed , and seemed to be deep into thought, ignoring everything else around her.
