Ven, Arekku's Venomoth, wondered through HQ holding a tape with a note attached to it. The tape had a scene that played out the other night with Thard and his Dusknoir. The note read: ' Thard,
I found this in my room this morning, I didn't know what it was or why it was there. It looks like security footage or something so I just decided to have Ven drop it off in the main room. I hope you know what to do with it because I don't. I would've brought it to you myself but I'm really busy right now.
-Arekku ' Ven got tired of looking around so she just set the tape on the arm of the couch, " I hope he finds it." She muttered and headed back to Arekku's room.

"I still am not convinced the Jewel of Life is the answer. If we are fighting the power of Kyogre, then a jewel with Groudon's power may be what we need. A Jewel of Magma, if you will."
"What brought that on, Xatu?" I ask her.
"I foresaw this conversation earlier and had my response prepared in advance."
"Of course."

Though last I checked, Arceus was a bigger deal than Groudon.

"We're fighting one of the very first Pokemon that's infused with the very soul of the Ocean." he sighed heavily as he looked at his Tome, full of legends and myths. "What if we create something else? Something that uses the Plates? Something that has all of the weaknesses of Water."

Partially due to the fact that I don't think there has yet been a man created Pokemon that didn't involve needless torture.

"It is a possibility..." Ginji sighed heavily as Larvitar dropped what he was playing with and it shattered like glass. "But I was thinking a different Jewel. Kind of like a Jewel of Magma, but maybe a different Jewel that focuses on the Splash Plate's weaknesses. If we could make something like that, maybe we could at least weaken the monster enough to defeat it."

"Maybe if we throw in something to combat Mew's natural typing, say, the Insect Plate, Spooky Plate and the Dread Plate, and we could create our own Jewel out five plates, just like the Jewel of Life was created out of five." Ginji suggested as Larvitar shuffled to pick of the pieces of his toy.
