*Luke looks down at his hands. Using his teeth, he tears off the velcro of the gloves and takes them off.*

*He shakes out his right hand, wishing for a moment that he'd gotten a handle on himself.*

A word of advice, K. I know you think this place is great. That it's full of legends, you know, fairytales that you heard when you were little. But do yourself a favor. Cut your losses, and get out of this place, while you can.

*Luke puts up a hand and raises his voice, trying to make him understand.* Because this place gets to you. You don't see it now, but it does. It doesn't matter who you are. It ******** with you.

*He doesn't notice the look on K's face. He's too distracted.*

Oh, you can make it fun. You can have some good times while you're in here. You can try not to let it get to you.

*Luke climbs to his feet.* But before you know it, people get hurt. *He's getting worked up again.* They come in here... get attacked by huge ******** angels while they're here? And when they're not - they get their ******** MEMORIES erased, they forget who the ******** they are?!?

That's ******** up. *His voice growls.* That's so <******** up! *He feels very much like punching the wall again.*

*Luke frowns at the ground. He start to say something... but he stops himself.* *He looks up at K harshly.* Look, it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter what I'm talking about.

All that matters - is that I've watched it happen. It happened to Maggie. It happened to Cora... *It's the first time he's said her name since it happened.* And you know what, it's gonna happen to you.

So get your key and get yourself out of here. Before this place ******** you up, too.

*Luke looks over at.... a huge 8' foot angel he's never seen before. In his state, all he can think is - Great. Another victim. Thank you, Brink.*

*Luke looks at Janani. He looks back at K, as if to say. See. She looks good now. Trust me, soon it'll get to her too.*

I'm fine...

Janani's so distracted that she doesn't even recall that her rear-end is hanging in the air. Her small, only about a one-foot span per wing, wings gently flap up and down as Janani continues to poke at WhiteRose. She doesn't know why her Cat Plushie stopped dancing... She'd been in the middle of practicing binding, too. Janani finally gives up, grabs WhiteRose, and "falls" backwards into a seated position. She holds her seeming worthless Cat Plushie, now completely back to being white, out from her face, at full arms length, as if scolding it.

Now... Why did you fall like that?

Okay... Janani's completely preoccupied. She doesn't quite get the "rules" of the Brink, as of yet. She doesn't know why she couldn't bind the blood off of WhiteRose the last time she was here. She has no clue why the Cat Plushie just fell out of the air like that, either...

:::Kal has a little trouble looking back at Luke for a moment, fixated on the giant woman scolding a cat toy...but the last few things Luke says snaps him out of it:::

Wait..what? You mean Cora...!? What happened!? What do you mean...you didn't know who she was!?

:::He was so confused...the Seraphim thing didn't make any sense to him at all, and neither did Cora's presence in the brink, but now something was wrong with her!? This was getting heavy...:::

The Seraphim? Why would they torture these people...? A better question is why would they torture, at all...? Janani has no idea that they are talking about a singul individual. She looks over to the two men with a dumfounded look. She places WhiteRose on her head, as if nothing had just happened at all. She doesn't know what to do, exactly. It would be rude to butt in... Wouldn't it? Janani just sits there and stares at them.
