*Coughs and clarifies just in case* Drow are AD&D dark elves. Evil, chaotic, and cruel, they prize lying, cheatin, and backstabbing. A matriarchal theocracy, the majority of drow worship a spider goddess.

I remember that being mentioned in some thread in CD. I haven't actually played D&D, but I have some knowledge of it.
I think I'm just gonna head out for now. I'll try to get back on later.
So long and thanks for all the fish.

The Drow are the metaphorical love-children of Michael Moorcock, JRR Tolkien, and the Marquise de Sade.

Gideon Starorzewski The Drow are the metaphorical love-children of Michael Moorcock, JRR Tolkien, and the Marquise de Sade. But are they happy little elves? Do they do little dances and have curly-ended shoes?

I'm not sure about the shoes, but I do believe they're happy and do dances if there's torture and suffering going on.

So it turns out the "Speedsters get boned during huge Crisises" thing applies to Marvel too, eh?
I count 'harnessing kinetic energy' as a Speedster power.

Wally_West "House of M" wasn't bad enough? It's not so much a question of being bad enough as it is what lows certain writers are willing to sink to.

Wally_West We're talking on two different wavelengths here. Speaking of which, I keep having trouble reading KM's sig without thinking of the disturbing Jim Balent character.

From what I know of Balent, I'm considering it a blessing that I haven't seen it.
