Toby just arched a brow and gave Kevin The Look. He was reaching because he liked Seamus, which was fine. They were two of very few Unseelie at HQ. If Pixie pooped at random there'd be a much, much larger issue.
"He knows he's not supposed to have cheese, or that much bread," Toby said, "He's probably not going to come back out any time soon. Leave him a plate, he'll come get it after." Maybe. If the sandwich wasn't already too much for his belly.

Maia snickered. Kevin seemed distracted by the cat, so she began serving people. "He'll get sick to his stomach," she added. "Come on, Kevin. I made you a plate." She offered it to the kelpie.
Kevin took it. "Thanks," he said. "Toby, sit by me!"

"Oh, look who's talking!" Toby said while he helped Maia, but he was grinning. "I seem to remember someone feeding the cat sidhe cake!"
Dari just snickered and waited patiently. When he was served, he left a space for Toby between him and Kevin.
"So how is everything?" Toby asked, "Still going good? Less pizza?"

"He likes cake!" Maia defended, and grinned. "All fae like sweets. I think every time we make cake he decides it's for him now." she sat next to Dari.
"Its good! Lori's less boring, even. I really did good on the test?" He looked to Dari. "I don't really like pizza anymore," Kevin complained. "It all tastes the same."

"Which is just fantastic," Toby teased and smiled to Maia. He served himself last and sat down beside Kevin and began to eat. Well good. They weren't raw inside. Kevin was learning.
"I'm sure Lori'd just love to hear that," Toby said with a smirk. "Try it again in a year or so, it won't be so bad any more." There was such a thing as too much of a good thing.
"You did. You got an 85," Dari said with a nod. Kevin wasn't Dari's best student, but for his age and seelie orientation he was rather good. Besides, he tried. That was more than a teacher could ask for.
When dinner was over, Dari stood and began to bring the plates to the sink, but Toby cut him off and took them himself, nodding to the paper bag. Dari smiled and nodded.
"Are you ready for your reward, Kevin?"

"I'm not going to tell him I like him," Kevin said. Lori was too fun to tease to do that. Liking someone was much less fun!
"I can look now?" Kevin went to peer inside the bag. "What is it, Dari?"

"Go see yourself," Dari said, gesturing to the bag.
Dari had crumpled some newspaper atop the box like tissue paper, but beneath was the same gaming system he and Toby had, from the latest generation, and three games. One was fantasy sandbox, the second an RPG, and the third a linear adventure game. It was one of each, so Kevin could decide what he liked.

Kevin took the newspaper off and flung it onto the floor, looking into the bag. He'd never gotten a reward for something he'd done. He'd expected something along the lines of dessert. He stared when he realized this wasn't the case.
An Xbox?! He looked to Dari, eyes wide. He took the box out, set it on the table, and wrapped his arms around the alien.

Ah, yes. That was precisely why Dari hadn't taken the time to wrap it. Dari grinned when Kevin's shocked expression turned toward him, and returned the hug as was to be expected from him. Toby stood with Maia washing dishes and peered over his shoulder.
"Aw, look," Toby said, even knowing Dari could hear him regardless of how near he was to whispering, "They're bonding over bribery."
"So you like it?" Dari asked. "You've been doing so well, and I know it can get sort of boring during the work day."

"Can we set it up? Will you play with me?" Dari had Kevin's attention even as the kelpie looked over the games he'd been given. "Do you think Toby will play?"
"You did the same thing," Maia whispered back, teasing. "Who gave him pizza?"
"I love it! Thank you!" Kevin was delighted. "Lets set it up so we can play!"

"We gave him food to survive," Toby fought back, but he leaned over and kissed Maia's hairline. "Besides, that was half Dari's fault anyway."
Dari snickered.
"Yes, Toby will play," Dari said with a nod and crouched to set up the system with Kevin's television. It wasn't anything like their TV at home, but that only served to make setup simpler. "Which one do you want to play? None of these are local multiplayer, unfortunately. Uh-- Which means you can't play them with someone else in the same room. Actually I don't think they're multiplayer at all." He grabbed the nearest game case and frowned thoughtfully at it. "Yeah, no."

Kevin was frowning once he heard his games weren't multiplier. How was he supposed to make Toby play if it was only single player? "We should go to the mall!" he decided. "Buy all the multiplier games!" He paused. "Can Michael play video games?"
"It was a good idea. He was hungry."

"I thought you should try these out first to see what your tastes are, and then we can see about getting you some new games," Dari said. "Besides, I have a number of local multiplayer games at home that we can borrow." His voice went low. "Maia doesn't like violence or monsters, even fictionalized." He was never going to let Kevin play war games, though. Not if he could help it. He smirked again and shook his head at Maia and Toby. "There. Now we just take your remote and... here, come watch this." He showed Kevin how to turn to Line 2 and the system's welcome screen appeared.
"Alright," he said after connecting a controller, "This is all you. Set it up how you like it."
Toby meanwhile shook his head and handed Maia the last dish to dry. "So is this. So I guess I'm just a big furry hypocrite, hm?" He grabbed Maia by the back of the head just to pull her in for a forehead kiss.

Oh, so Dari had the same system at home? Even better! They could share! Not that Kevin particularly liked sharing, but sharing meant he got to keep more money in his pockets. "Really, why not?" he asked. Were there video games without violence? That didn't sound very fun!
He took the remote. "Want to help me set it up?" he asked. "You should bring your controller from home and play one of your games with me."
Maia took the dish and dried it. She smiled at him. "No, I was going to say you're adorable."
Kevin looked over his shoulder. "Hey! Are you guys being gross in my kitchen?"
