Also cawmen i feel you pain with that my dogs always want to get in the liter box i'm like no so nasty gross. We got point we block the down down stairs where the box is only the cats can get down there so the dogs can't get into it.

We have one of those tall gates blocking off the room where the litter box is. It's got a hole small enough for the cat to get through (or he can jump over). But the dog can't get to it. It's only when the cat decides to be nasty and do his business where he's not supposed to that it becomes problematic. It doesn't happen very often... I wish I knew what possesses him to do that so I could prevent it from happening in the first place. I think the most disgusting thing I've ever had to do (and this includes nasty diaper changes and cleaning up vomit or blood) is pry cat poo out of the dogs mouth. Ok I'm done -- sorry about grossing everyone out twisted

Sometimes they do that cause they are annoyed. It can either be someone upset the cat or something around him did. That always seems to be the issue with most cats I see that do that.

Our cat is inscrutable and slightly psycho... one of the reasons I'm more of a dog person. Still I'm not immune to the power of cuteness some kittehs wield..

As you know I got 2 awesome dogs already smile Sadie and Diva! Diva being my biggest and youngest! 9 months old and can nearly look me in the eyes when she stands on her back legs hehe. Now Kittehs I call them worthless due to my mother... Cat will never protect you! it will run before it will try to save you lol! But I can agree they do hold cuteness  ^ my fav kinda cat.. CALICO!

Just a dog is more me. Big, Strong! and super loyal! As for a cat.. You don't own the cat! the cat owns you biggrin

Reason you have both. I love dog's and cats both for there own reasons. One bad thing my other cat simba I didn't see him in the dark one night i steped on him and he clawed my legs up was bleeding alot from those scratches.

XenoKia Reason you have both. I love dog's and cats both for there own reasons. One bad thing my other cat simba I didn't see him in the dark one night i steped on him and he clawed my legs up was bleeding alot from those scratches. I will take my exotic pets anyday over a cat though. Rather it be a snake, sugar glider, Chameleon, etc. Dogs and Exotics are my thing. I love kitties don't get me wrong. But gotta follow my heart smile

I'd never have a pet again I think. I cannot even see a dog these days without getting extremely upset. Other animals I can see, but still do not want as
pets.

aw i miss our cats. we had to get rid of them when we found out our youngest sister was allergic. we had 3 cats, 2 dogs, 3 horses, 4 rabbits, 2 ferrets, a gerbil, LOL.
