Sami blinked, gazing at the basket, before grinning from ear to ear and trotting off God knew where, munching on the strawberries.
Eventually, without Tony to keep tabs on her, she got lost.
A little while later, she opened her eyes and blinked down at the basket in her arms, pouting when she saw it was empty.
When she looked up again, she blinked, and looked around slowly.
"Oh dear..." she breathed, gazing around the totally deserted hallway on the first floor. "Where the hell am I?"
Holding the basket in her arms like one would a teddy bear, she looked around, concerned for a moment.
Then she blinked and grinned.
"Yay!" She exclaimed quietly to herself, beginning to walk with a little bounce in her step. "Exploring! A new adventure for me!"
Besides, Tony was her 'partner'. It wasn't HER fault if she got lost because it was his job to keep watch on her. It wasn't HER fault he was failing on his job.
Besides again, the more pissed off Tony became, the more she liked him.
Call it a strange quirk of hers.
She walked by a steel door, and paused mid-step, putting her foot back on the ground and turning to the door, blinking at it.
"Hm..." she breathed, noticing the lock. It was opened just recently.
Maybe somebody's inside.
Or maybe somebody just LEFT.Blinking in curiosity, she took hold of the handle and pushed in.
She was right. Someone had just passed through the door recently - maybe to go to the bathroom or something.
Her eyes widened as the door swung inwards and no alarm was set off. Any alarm that would've originally been active had probably been disarmed when whoever was in here last had left - and why would they put everything up again if they were only going to be gone a few minutes? It was an unnecessary hassle.
Her eyes widened.
It was the secure-files room.
Blinking -
how stupid are these people, leaving this place unguarded? - she slipped inside and closed the door behind her, heading deeper in the room.
"Wow..." she breathed, looking around in awe. "Shiny..."
