"Indeed .. I had not realized so much time had passed. Perhaps it is time for rest?" she asked sounding as if she were anticipating bad news. She sighed contently when he rested his head on hers.
(Ooc: Rest well ^^ )

"Nope. As I said before, I am content the way I am. If you wish to sleep though..." He said as he nuzzled her somewhat. It was the greatest way he knew how to show affection... though it seemed somewhat odd, even to him.

"I sleep at odd hours, if you even call it sleep. As I have said .. I am different, it is not easy to explain." she said softly, smiling to know that he was still happy to be in her company. A moment later she realized she were getting hungry. "Are you thirsty or hungry?"

"Different is great..." Reeve said quietly, partially keeping it to himself. At the mention of thirst he realized that he was, in fact, extremely thirsty. He had been ignoring it to spend some more time with her. "I am a little bit thirsty..."

"Is it? I have often found that different is different and only some are accepting of things or people who are different." she said with a smile. Holding out both hands, she created two cups of mint tea, one for each of them. "Let us have tea then? Unless you would prefer something else, I can easily change it for you."

"Well, I'm not exactly normal myself..." he said as he reached out his hand, trying to find one of the cups. "And tea works great for me... if I can ever find it..." He chuckled lightly, finding her arm. Carefully he followed her arm to her hands, then took a cup.

Ziven giggled a bit at the touch of his hand moving up her arm to find the tea, somehow finding it rather thrilling and amusing. "I will help you find anything you need, I will place the tea in your hand next time, you need only hold out your hand." she said softly with a smile. "If you do not mind speaking of it, how are you different? Is it because you are with Kain or because you are blind?"

Reeve smiled and tilted his head a bit. "What was with the giggling?" He shook his his head a bit, retaining his smile. "I have two reasons; one of which is the ability in which I was born with. To make illusions that are so real, they actually harm people? Such an ability being used by a blindman is also rather uncommon... Not that I have ever met a person who could do what I do." He sipped his tea for a moment. "Now if you don't mind me asking, how are you different?"

She giggled again and blushed a bit. "I am not exactly certain, your touch sent shivers through me and I giggled because of it, I know not why." she took a sip of her tea before answering further. "Hmm, it is rather difficult to explain how I am different because it is natural to me, I often do not know what is considered normal to others. Most obviously I am able to use magic though there seems to be no known catalyst for this. Where I came from, most persons are unable to use magic from birth, usually there is something that happens to them that allows them to tap in to that part of their mind and the other culture I met .. their magic flows through their blood, most of their magic folk give birth to children who also can use magic but I am not from their people.
Other things such as how I speak. Though I know language well, I always speak as I do which is not common for most, they use contractions often .. even the elves use contractions so I speak not like they do, more a kin to dragons. But on the subject of elves, I sleep more like they do. It is not quite sleep like most other creatures experience it is more like deep meditation, aware of many things even though we do not react as we slumber .."
Trailing off for a moment, she looked at her tea with sad eyes before taking a sip from it. With a small sigh she went on. "I am different also, I feel, as I was on the brink of madness for some months when leaving my master, it still affects me every day but I have found ways to cope. It is not easy for me. And now .. I am changed but in ways I do not know. Seisuke-ona is a friend, I trust him but he has been very secretive about what is going on. I am hoping they will enlighten me about what is going on with my body and what I am able to do soon, my patience is wearing thin."
She paused again, taking another sip of tea before sighing heavily. "Ahh, listen to me go on. Surely you are bored with me now. What else shall we speak of?"

"Really now?" he said with a grin. Carefully he found her arm once again and ran his fingers gently down it. "Perhaps you are what my people would call a scorcerress. They are born within many magik based places, having unnatural gifts the moment they are born... gifted, as one may say." His smile faded a bit as he spoke, "Or perhaps you are a Magi... I hope you are not. As for this Seisuke, if he is doing something to you, I am sure he will give you answers. the problem with answers though, is they take time..."
At her last statement he smiled a bit more and shook his head. "I enjoy hearing your voice. I have heard that one of the best things a person can do is look into the eyes of one they care about... unfortunately, I can not look into your eyes... but your voice is beautiful, so I can settle." He smile to her, then took a drink of tea.

Ziven giggled again as the same shiver ran through her with his touch on her arm. Her mind switched back to logic and thinking a moment later at the mention of Sorceress and Magi. Where as he frowned at Magi, she frowned at Sorceress. "If I am a Sorceress, then I am most displeased as it is considered something unfavorable to the elves, I would never be accepted by them again if labeled such. Why is it that you do not like Magi?" she asked curiously.
As he moved on, speaking of her, she blushed furiously and felt so shy that she pressed her forehead against his arm, trying to hide. "Hearing you speak such compliments of me causes me to feel shy, as if there are .. what is the expression .. butterflies in my stomach? The feeling is neither pleasant nor bothersome but it is a feeling I am unfamiliar with. If it helps for you to feel better, I cannot look in to your eyes either since you keep them covered so often."

He smiled slightly as she giggled again. "Then I will not label you a Sorceress, I would not want the elves mad at you." At the sound of the Magi, his smile faded again. "The Magi play god. They used to use their magikal abilities to create and destroy life as they saw fit. The Magi used their magiks to destroy almost all of my people in one fell blow... they were even considered a kin-soul race." Reeve sipped his tea for a moment, clearing his head. "They attacked my kind in the middle of the night, using otherworldly magik to kill my people... and still never managed to do it completely. They ran when their magik ran out... but the upset the balance greatly."
He was silent for a moment, but when she started talking about him he smiled. "Most people find the scars unpleasent... but I will take it off if you wish."

"If I am a Magi, then I reject my culture and am ashamed to be related to it. I can assure you I have not participated in any such event." she said softly. Slowly as he spoke, she lifted her head from his shoulder but moved herself to sit closer to him. When he offered to remove his blindfold, she smiled and made her tea disappear, leaving both hands free. "Only when they reopen and cause you to bleed am I bothered but only because I worry it causes you pain, it looks to be uncomfortable. But .." she paused, lifting her hand toward his face. Curling her fingers over, she gently touched his cheek again before tracing her fingertip along the edge of his blindfold. "M .. May I?" she asked quietly, looking at him with a somber, questioning look.

Reeve smiled to her, feeling that she scooted closer to him. He allowed his arm to fall behind them a bit, giving her more room. "You are very kind... and I know you did not participate in what I described... And even if you were a Magi it would not change how I... feel for you." His cheeks turned slightly red, but it was barely noticeable. When she touched his cheek he shivered again slightly, but continued smiling. "If you want to, go right ahead."

"Just as my feelings do not change when I view your eyes .." she said softly, easing her fingertips under the blindfold more, using magic to undo the tie. She smiled, watching as the fabric fell from him, holding the blindfold between thumb and finger. She placed it in their laps, half over his leg, half over hers. With her hand free again, she touched his cheek again and smiled. "There you are. I thank you greatly, I feel very satisfied .. pleased."
