Thard_Verad "Eh? Jack is here?" I look around wondering where the other boy might be. "I only see the two of us...." Perhaps Brian's psychic senses heard something I didn't, so I brush off the incident. "Well... Wasn't the Jewel of Life a composite of several Plates? Perhaps there's some way to counteract the power of the Splash Plate using others. *I look up* Me: Now that's an angle I haven't considered, mainly because I haven't heard much about the Jewel. *I start digging through books*

"I'd only heard some stories about it during a trip to Sinnoh a while ago. You could check the Canalave library if nothing turns up in your own books. Anyway, I'll keep an ear out for any news and try to find some way of engaging it in battle if necessary."

"But wasn't the Jewel composed of the Splash Plate in the equation?" *I come out of my office with notes* Me: Yeah. Water, Grass, Ground, Electricity and Dragon were the types of plates I came up with. Obviously the Splash plate is Water. So I wonder if we could substitute Ice.
