Maybe they meant it as a compliment? I get that whole "Are you over 18? Really! You don't look a day over 16!" Yeah... not working buddy.

Malee: ya, my folks say that me looking younger is good.. well, it will be good in about 20yrs but not now! lol

Augh. I gotta think up some japanese names for these characters, but naming things properly in Japanese is so hard! I wish I could just give them names in another language, but it wouldn't fit in the theme of the story.
Either I need to find two male names using the characters 空 (sky) and 陸 (land), and one female name using the character 海 (sea), or I can find names that have meanings somewhat related to thoes elements (like cloud, rock, wave...)
Baby name websites aren't reliable and rarely give you the kanji, but making things up using the characters is also not reliable, as Meriko has told me.
Edit: and Meriko comes online and posts as I'm typing this. I hope she dosen't think I'm trying to bug her 0_0

It certainly is a compliment, but I think they just meant it as they meant it...they thought I was the "daughter of the house." I probably do look younger than my actual age, but he seemed to be off by more than ten years. o_O; If a twenty-something year old answered the door I'd just start talking, not ask if their mum was home. Our whole neighborhood is comprised of young parents.

There's a point to where not looking your age is really inconvenient. Like when I go into a casino and security bothers me, thinking my ID is fake. Especially since they're extremly rude to you while they're double-checking it.
I also hate the baby talk when I'm doing something, like shopping or filling out forms, and someone is amazed at how I'm doing something so adult.

I have been very..lathargic today... i dont feel sick, but my muscles do feel a little sore and tired... i have just been tired and sleepy all day and even a nap didnt help...
im gonna go take a hot shower and see if it helps.. i'll be back ^^
