The ritual is transformative, so it will give the weapon the ability to at the very least shift into any of the three weapons included in the forging.

LOL RIGHT?

Legion. True story, that sounds badass. Now I wanna spar you with said weapon once its introduced. That sort of morphing ability against Raven's Equip Armor would be ffuuunnnn.

I'm officially a lunatic. This poor guy texts me
Johnny: So what's on tonight's agenda? Me: I dunno. Mostly observing my hair and discussing weaponry.
I have issues if the only thing I can think to reply with involves Venusian and Martial art.

Personally I just love the nodachi, well I like melee weapons with reach say like the halberd or the naginata.

I'm not big on wielding a Nodachi Nihonto simply because if I were to swing, I'd leave myself open--but that's because A) I'm very petite and light-weight and B) I very little muscle to wield such a weapon--even with two hands. If I were against a skilled opponent, I'd have to find a way to balance swinging, recovery, parrying.
It's nice if your opponent has an inferior weapon, or poor training in stance. But if they don't...I dunno. I dislike feeling open like that--too risky unless you're confident in your ability and their inferiority. At least when I studied Naginata-jutsu, I could twist the shaft to counter an attack, and switch back to an offensive stance.
Your weapon is only as sure as your confidence, I wager.

Lawl and my plot with the legion is going to be suspended until i can talk to who ever is managing the over reaching plot here.
I would love to spar Raven its actually one of my favorite weapon abilities. combine that with touch cast temporary enchanting and you have a versatile and powerful martial artist without the need for super flashy magic.

On a side note I'm not proficient with a nodaichi, though I would like to learn it.
I am proficient with a european long sword, a chinese long sword, and a european long spear, both standard and with an affixed blade rather than spear head. I prefer pole arms like the long spear to swords cause i already have excellent reach. However in a pinch with my skills i could also use any number of weapons with a larger longer reach but shorter grip, like a number of b*****d and great swords.
I dont like the curve in middle eastern and eastern weapons. It doesnt feel comfortable with the styles I have been taught.
Though I should probably learn a style that lends well to a curved blade, because honestly a falchion could and probably should be one of my better weapons.

I'm still trying to...breathe the Revenant Guardian a more descriptive life--especially her armor, which is basically a step up from the Armor of Cancer, the Scythe morphing into a Glaive.
I also thought of nixing the Summoning Hosts, and simply calling upon the Constellations as Gateways to access the armor instead. Simply naming the stars of a Zodiac Constellation, with all the stars unlocking a Gateway to that Zodiac Constellation's corresponding armor--like a key to a lock to a door.

Equip magic, hmm, I would say this, go with the star names, where each star represents one of the pieces of the armor. As you call each one that piece appears and equips.

I gained the inspiration first from Karas, which I saw years before I ever saw Erza use equip magic. But I didn't want to be all Knights of the Zodiac-like.
Also the concept of zero space came from Animorphs. I used to think...if all that matter is stored in zero space when they change shape...wouldn't it make sense you could deposit and withdraw things like armor and weapons there through a celestial gateway?
I think another reason I like Karas so much is because it is the closest I've seen to the embodiment of Raven's Swift Speed.Damn Crow...

I was trying to explain to Jilly the concept of this Mellow Mushroom Restaurant via texting, while simultaneously talking about weaponry and armor concepts with you and my ridiculous obsession with lizards to Wyndom.
I'm also still observing my hair. I had it cut ridiculously short. It went from being near my waist to barely past my shoulders. It looks very Yuna FFX-like versus the straight Tifa-style I am used to. @_@

I have a blade master who is supposed to be fast beyond human perception, within a twenty foot area he can strike you and be back to his starting point before you even have time to perceive he has moved.
He is a level seven nomad psion, with two levels of soul knife to get the sword in his original d&d build.
The original could teleport, and strike in the same round. He was granted an attack of opportunity when teleporting into a space threatened by an enemy.
And he could blink as a move action.
