You know the hardest part I'm finding about writing this post.

Is that the current positioning of our characters and the implications there of, is so irregular and therefore so complex that it is difficult to properly convey without a bunch of technical information. I think this is one of the difficulties I have with RP fighting.

Is that, because I use a lot of grappling and close quarters combat...

I don't want to just say..."Well I'm doing this unconventional thing, but it works so you will have to take my word for it"

Because I feel like people will be confused...but then again people dislike when I have a lot of technical jargon...
This would be valid if people didn't already know you...

Fox is well versed in H2H as well so I am sure he will understand what you are getting even in the simplest terms.

That's the fight you are talking about right?

And this is why I think most of you are stupid. Not because you make mistakes or just don't know things, but when you do make a mistake instead of saying, "ok, I messed up, gonna learn from it," you just get ultra-defensive because you can't do wrong.

See, it wouldn't have even been an issue if there wasn't the irony that you messed up something you start learning in 3rd grade while trying to belittle someone else. Language, spoken and written, is one of if not the biggest factor we use in deciding if someone is intelligent or not. Those who fail to accurately communicate what they have going on in their head are usually seen to be simpletons.

Tres makes those kinds of mistakes all the time, and the only time I bring them up is when I'm teasing him. He doesn't get super defensive. He has the right attitude.

"I made a mistake, but it's not that big of a deal. Thanks for pointing out something I missed."

If you had that same kind of attitude then maybe, just maybe, you'd have a chance. But that attitude...That's why whatever endeavors you undertake will fail. Reflection is important.

But I'm just keeping it real. Go on and get mad.

I'm embarrassed and upset that you're all making me look like a tight a**, so I'm gonna rant like a tight a** until you all accept my intelligence.

You're accepted.

Take advantage of the spoilers!

I understand what you mean there. In this one fight I took part in, my posts were massive. I had multiple paragraphs to telegraph a single action. It was dull, horrible, and even though I totally KO'd the guy, it felt dumb.

What I've begun doing with that is performing the move simply, and then adding an asterisk. I add a thing saying the technical jargon is in the spoiler if someone cares to read.

It helps the flow so much.

This is a great idea.

I think I'll write a long post

and then make another post that is significantly shorter and then just put the long one in a spoiler tag.

Let's get straight to the point here, shall we?

DPM, none of us like you. At all. None of us respect you. At all. None of us want you here. At all. The sheer fact that you even post anymore in this community clearly states you're here for attention, and all of us are far too stupid to not give it to you(hence this post). You're a glutton for punishment, as silly as that may sound.

Please, just crawl back from under the rock you came from and just stay there. Please.

I'm gonna bring up something from 2 years ago because I'm not clever enough to do anything else.

It's okay. we can't all be the brightest bulb in the box.

Oh... well that a toughy

I mean on the one I understand that you want execute something extravagant and probably gain a personal achievement....

but...

On the other hand, you're facing an opponent that the move may be too complex for and thus forcing you to over-explain what's about to happen.

IMO I would keep s**t simple and still gain the leverage that the complicated move would have given you.

It's like the argument we had with Sigil the other night....just because you can doesn't mean you should.

Firstly, it's not ironic. It would be ironic if you guys were discussing grammar specifically, but going along the route of intelligence in general... No. Some people generally have issues with grammar. Heita could be a genius for all we know, but English may be his second language.
Simple grammar skills do not denote intelligence whatsoever.

IRONY SMASH.

I digress.

You are proving the point I made moments ago. You are arguing for the sake of arguing, over a moot point! I was trying to make a joke that you are searching for perfect grammar on Gaia. You turn it into an argument without hesitation.

I think you're the biggest troll to ever exist.
