"Yeah two days. What a mountain of time." Pen went baffled to little urked.
"You three don't get it." Looking around to the table she was right. When they got here Waffle and Sabe were already an item. They just got invited to a wedding they weren't here for the heart ache that got them there.
"I was here when when scarf boy popped out. The ups and downs of this entire thing and now just two days? Not to mention how casually you mention it." Nothing could really calm her down now and she wasn't really mad. It was more of shock and surprise and she didn't know what she wanted in response. Though with little sleep and eating it could be that she was literally at the the end of ropes.
She sat right back down as if her body just could not keep her upright. Taking a breath she looked dazed at her stew.
I'm way too tired for this. But a wedding is sure better than a mission. She forced a smile now, at least they are including us. they could have sneaked out for a couple of days and they wouldn't have been apart of that day.

Sabe left the bathroom about seven minutes later and instead started looking for some sleep-aid pills. He didn't see them in the usual cabinet. Yipee. Time to climb down stairs to ask her where she hid my pills. he thought as he left the room with a short navy-colored towel in his hand.
Meanwhile, Waffle was still sitting at the table. "You make it seem like I'm not looking forward to it, which is bullshit. A person can still be happy about a wedding without being hyper and bubbly about it like Michelle on a sugar rush. Trust me, you should be more concerned if I ever do act like that." she said as she furrowed her brows. She didn't have anything against Michelle, but she had to use anything she could to cover her mistake.
Sabe slowly made his way to the entrance of the dining hall and peered inside. His skin was a light cyan hue and his hair was disheveled and seemingly greyer than usual. It looked like Waffle was a bit busy, so he waited.

'Yep, definitely missed out on something here,' Nariana thought and almost rolled her eyes in annoyance. 'I really gotta find out what's happened recently...And note to self: scarf boy is probably Sabe. Ugh!' Being out of the loop was one of her pet peeves. As a manager, she always knew what was going on around her, and this wasn't fitting her style right now.
She nodded in agreement with Waffles. Although she would have been visibly excited for her wedding, she knew that not everyone reacted so strongly.
Her smile faded a bit before she said to Pen apologetically, "I wish I could get it. Sorry that I don't. I'm sure that whatever happened must have really been trying..." Her smile faded even more. "Perhaps you should rest for a little bit; you don't look too well."
Nariana heard Sabe enter and frowned when she saw him. "Oh, dear. Neither do you," she said concerned.

KD sat at the table looking from one person to the next while the conversation took place... she was new to being around so many people and knew that she tended to stay quiet and was often forgotten about... she managed to get out: "Congratulations Waffle, weddings are lovely!" At that moment a sickly looking elf walked in, the same who stormed away earlier... or at least she guessed it was.

Pen rolled her eyes and sighed as Waffle made her argument. With all that had happen with Luc in the last mission she was not looking for a fight.
"NO I know its just... just..." Pen began rocking back in her chair trying to see how she could fix her idea into words.She turned to the others to stall.
"Its not your guys' fault but I have been cheering from the get go." With a bit more somber look she turned to Waffle.
"You took me by surprise this has been a long thing. I'm happy for you two." With that Pen rocked too far back in her chair and fell backwards. It was either hitting her head or the exhaustion but Pen now lay unconscious on the floor. Though it didn't look all too comfortable she certainly needed the rest.

ALy had come back in from putting her stuff up, to hear Pen's words. For a moment she felt for her and as she walked towards her blueprint sheet, she thought over how she would feel.
She was just turning to leave when, she heard a crash. Turning, she noted that Pen's chair had slipped beneath her. Foolish Pen, she thought and then wait for a second.
Only to realize she wasn't getting up. Walking over quickly, she saw that Pen appear to be out. Kneeling, she lifted the girls head. "Clearly past out from exhaustion, though she'll wake up with a nice bump and a headache."

"Nah..." KD said as she got up and knelled beside Pen. She pulled out a small vial, placed a few drops on her finger tips and gently rubbed the potion on Pen's forehead. "...she needs sleep, surely, but this should help her head. Who will help me carry her to someplace more comfortable?"

Waffle was sure to keep her mouth shut when Pen fell down, but then saw her fiance standing in the doorway. "Oh. Hi Sabe. What are you here for?" she asked almost mechanically. He wasn't listening as he was looking at the dazed Pen on the floor.
"Sabe!"
"Wha-?" Sabe asked, startled.
"Why did you come down here?"
"Oh. Where did you put my sleep-aid pills? Can't find them anywhere."
"You already went through the whole container of 'em before we left."
"...great."
"..."
"Why is Pen on the floor?" he asked.
"Dunno." she said back.
Sabe rolled his eyes. "Well, we both know you're lying there. I could hear both yours and Pen's loud mouths from upstairs and I heard everything. That's why I can't any sleep."
"Bu-"
"Go put your dishes and silverware away, get Pen off the ground and into her room, then come back into ours. Tomorrow's going to be pretty busy." he said sternly.
He turned to everyone else in the dining room. "Sorry, guys." he mumbled sheepishly before walking back upstairs. Waffle sighed and got up to wash her dishes. "Looks like I have to, seeing how I started it." she said.

"Oh, my..." Nariana put her hand to her mouth as she watched Pen fall over. She immediately stood up and looked over there, trying to see if Pen was alright. "Poor thing..." she shook her head. After Sabe finished talking, she asked Waffle. "Want some help, Waffle? I'm about done eating, anyway."

"Interesting..." Aly glanced at the KD...if she remembered correctly, put small vial away. "I might be interested in test that...just for fun of course."
And then she sighed and looked at Pen, "I'm not much of lifter, but...Um...Luciano could you help? If you wouldn't mind?"

KD nodded and smiled at Aly, and handed her the vial. "You can have this one, I can make more."
She then took one of Pen's arms and wrapped it around her neck waiting for someone to get the other side.

Nariana went to the other side and wrapped Pen's arm around her neck, starting to lift her up. "We can carry her, but someone will have to show us to her room," she said.

"Put....me...on the couch..." Being pulled up had waken Pen to an extent. She could not feel the throbbing of her head but she was still tired.
Taking her arm back from Nari she wobbled in place. "Thanks," she muttered to the girls around her. Then straighten back up she called over to Waffle.
"Sorry. In the morning I will be more overjoyed for you two." With that Pen left to fall face forward on the HQ lobby couch.

"Poor thing..." KD said brushing the hair from Pen's forehead away, from her finger tips a came faint sparkle. No one would have seen it if they weren't looking right at her hands. That should ensure that she will feel good in the morning. "Well, I suppose I will turn in... can anyone show me to my room?"

Aly followed behind the threesome examining the vial. When she caught up, she noted Pen's sleeping position, "Now that can't be comfortable?"
She tried to figure out her next steps, however she could only manage enough energy for work. If I stray for that path, I'll end up like Pen. So I best focus on what I can manage.
"I'm off for the night,"She muttered and shuffled over and up the stairs. Once in her room she Activated Deacon, sending to scan and send her note filled blueprint sheet to the lab, along with set up the vial for further examination, the the final note to rest after he had completed her request.
Once she had that down, she plopped on her bed and decide for fun to read one of her favorite books, The Study of Magical Source Theory.
