The bullet strikes home, dead center in the woman's forehead, making it snap back. Vai's own head suddenly disperses into a mist as the woman's head snaps back through her, and she drops the woman by turning into a black mist, and reforming a few steps away. She breathes a sigh of relief, and turns to Elena. "Let's get out of here..." She says to her, pointing to Midgar.
But somethings not right... that was a little too easy, wasn't it?

Elena was still holding her weapon in the same direction, as though suprised it was that easy. She thought it would be more challengeing to kill that women, she looked crazy enough to be the type that wouldn't die so easyly. Then again, it was good. She looked more dangerus then she would ant to deal with.
"Good idea...What the heck was she? " She walked over to Vai, as to keep close to her incase anything did happen, she'd be close to help.

((*bouncy bouncy bounce* well, someone give me a good round up so I can jump in? Vincent and Cid should be easy enough. I want to bring Ao in, but that will take some time.
I can only get on every couple of days as I am not only using my bf's computer but am using a neighbour's wireless... with their permission, of course.))

Vai shrugs, and begins to move back towards Midgar. "I have no idea... But whatever she is... She must be dark to survive the mist on the other side of the por- OH! I need to close that portal!" She says, before turning back, and finding herself looking at the crazed woman, who is now standing behind Elena, a wicked gleam in her eyes, and two long fangs poking out from her mouth. "That wasn't very nice... heheh... but it feels good to be hurt again..." There's a faint clink as the bullet that had stricken the woman's head drops to the road. She grins, before her mouth opens, and she suddenly lunges for Elena before Vai can say anything.

Elena glanced down at the ground, noticeing something that wasn't there before. A dark shadow infront of her. Vai wasn't behind her, the road was open, there were no trees in sight to give any shadows..
With that in her mind, Elena spun around with lighting speed, as she brought up her arm to slam into the 'strangers' head before she even knew who it was. There was one thing people didn't do, and that was sneak up behind her. Especially when she was alert.
When she saw the women though, she jumped back with her gun still in hand.

Elena's sudden swing caught the crazed woman off-guard, leaving her with too little time to dodge. The arm strikes her head, sending her into a back flip, which the crazed woman manages to land from, as though it had been her intent. "Heheh... You're quick... This could really be fun..." She says, as she begins to slowly circle the two.
Vai pulls back close to Elena, pulling out a few beakers, and mixing the chemicals together, her face serious now. "Miss Elena, we may need a bit of haste here... my offer of potions is still open, if you want one." She says as she works. "Just keep her off of me, and we should be able to get out of this with our lives."

Elena kept her gaze on the women, she felt if she did, it would be the end of them. Though she wasn't sure she could even take her in a battle. Crazy people tended to be stronger then anyone else when there adrenalin rush took over. "Who the hell are you? What do you want?" She demanded an answer. All the while lsitening to Vais words which she added quickly in repsonce. "Right..Sure."

Azurite carried both Akia and Kioni over to Galacia asking "But... how do we get up there?" as he listened to Galacia play his flute. He didn't know exactly what Galacia was doing but he just waited for a reply.

Vai nods, slipping out a beaker, and slipping it around to Elena. "Drink it quickly." She says, as the crazed woman is watching them carefully.
The woman cackles at the question. "I am Akai, the Twisted One, and I want to share with everyone, the joys of pain!" She says, before cackling even louder, and lunging towards Vai's left side.
((The beaker has a potion that delivers the same effect as haste, with a side effect. When it wears off, it feels like getting hit with slow))

(( Thanks to World of Warcraft. I could actually picture that one. With like Rogues, when they use sprint, and it dies out after 15 seconds.. Sloooow again. ))
"Are you sure this stuff is safe? " Elena took hold of it, she didn't seem to sure about, but she also didn't feel wonderful about getting herself killed by a crazed women ether. What choice was she to make..
Without another word, she drank down the potion, just at the right moment to catch the women lunging for Vai, inwhich Elena intercepted by pushing the girl out of harms away. "Back off! I'll make you feel some pain!" She yelled while reaching into her bag and retrieveing a small black device. "Vai, move out of the way quickly!"

Vai hadn't been expecting Elena to push her, but had still be expecting the Akai to strike. Elena's shoulder sunk into her body at first, like it wasn't even there, but then connected solidly halfway through, shoving the girl's light body out of the way as though she were a feather in the air, an ethereal mist following the girl's 'broken' body. She reformed quickly though, and looked to Elena. "Whatever it is, I'll be fine!"
Akai lunge missed the girl entirely, and she ducked into a roll, rising on the other side of the two. She turned to face the two, circling again. "You're going to show me pain?" She gave a crazed giggle. "Then show me this pain!" She yelled out, her arms moving back as she arched her spine forward, leaving herself completely vulnerable as she stopped moving.

Vai's actions suprised her, but also eased the worry that she'd end up hurt. That women couldn't hit her if she tried, if kept turning into a form of mist as she had done. "Right, Let's just get the heck out of here!"
But before she moved to break into a run, Elena tossed the small black device into the air, right into the womens direction. Her free hand dropping a tiny silver pin to the ground. "How's this for pain?!" Elena still carried some Shin-Ra technology with her, in the small granades she had used to use once. They carried an extra impact by Shin-Ra's developments and were ment to kill, not injure.

Vai nodded to Elena, quickly moving to get away from the grenade's target. "Agreed!"
Behind the two, the grenade, which had landed at Akai's feet, went off, ripping through her with all it's power, ripping up her flesh, and ripping her apart... Was she dead? They wouldn't know until the smoke cleared...

Elena waved Vai on, motioning for her to start running. She didn't feel like sticking around to see what become of the women. "Let's just get out of here, get back to the City!" After that, Elena took off running for the direction of Midgar.

Vai nodded to Elena. "I'll be right behind you!" She said, before turning, and clapping her hands at the dark portal. The black lightning crackled across the portal as it slowly closed, and the black mist that had flowed out from it began to dissipate. She then turned to run after Elena, pulling out another beaker of quicksilver, and downing it, so she could catch up.
Behind them, the smoke began to clear... and there was nobody there.
