Tsukasa Elric Streamjumper I honestly expect people to put the majority of the blame on us Americans. I don't know how much this is affecting you Tsu, but consider me firmly in your corner... and not just because it'll be easier for me to envenomate you from arm's reach. The blame will probably be put on Islamic people. I've heard America has already been blaming Iraq/Iran/Al-Queda (I haven't seen the news today, but rumors and such).

Shoujo Phoenix Streamjumper Phoenix315 Tsukasa Elric And it's not really affecting me at all. sweatdrop I didn't know until I went to school and someone like, jumped on me and shouted "OH MY GOD DID YOU HEAR ABOUT LONDON!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!" That really sounds like me and 9/11 honestly. sweatdrop You're also a West coaster. Its easier to not care when you are about as far away from New York as one can get without leaving the continental states. I'm from Connecticut, which has a pretty deep connection with NYC, and I know people who were in the building. Lets just say that I ended up doing a lot of work with disaster relief charities... which probably helped me be a lot less depressed about having been laid off the day after 9/11 that I could have been. I woke up to that and watched it before I took off to school. I also watched the 2nd plane live. =( At school, that's all that we did...was discuss and watch about it. My dad woke me up and said, "The World Trade Centers are on fire!" I freaked out and turned on the news, I saw the second plane crash. By that time my dad decided I'm not going to school for safety reasons. Even though 9/11 didn't affect me on a personal level, I felt like a part of me died on that day.

In other news, I totally want one of these bracelets. www.actorcomicfund.org It's like...the geek side of those trendy bracelets.

Chibi Baka ... London go boom. sad Six explosions, supposedly only 2 dead, 185 injured. There's got to be some more bodies in those train tunnels.. ... That was a wonderful way to start my morning. I'd put the blame on the French humor, badtaste, but there were claims that the group affiliated themseleves with Al-Queda at seven-thirty this morning. I haven't seen anything since then though, maybe I should watch television for once...

Tsukasa Elric I blame the French. I also like how everyone is so calm about it. People are more than likely thinking "Oh God damn, I'm going to be late for work with these delays. stressed " instead of "Shitshit! My leg's missing! gonk " ... I love you. xd For an extremly limited amount of time. Like, it's over. Now. ...Well, not quite.

And now Canada is starting to worry...After all Canada has some ties to Britain.
But I'm not worrying too much about Canada potentially being attacked...

Streamjumper Malaryush Reposting, since Gaia ate the last post... Shoujo Phoenix I woke up to that and watched it before I took off to school. I also watched the 2nd plane live. =( At school, that's all that we did...was discuss and watch about it. Same here. sad I was eating my breakfast and noticed that my roommates happened to have left the TV on the night before. Sat down to watch the news just a few minutes before the second plane hit. I didn't know anybody there, but all my then-roommate's family was in NYC, and several of my classmates had family in the area... I was up on a ladder in a computer/PBX room routing and banging down cross-connect wire for about 150 new phone/data terminals we had run when the TV the IT guys for the company had there to keep an eye on us showed the first wave of news. I immediately felt my stomach drop, since one of my roomies from college and two of the guys I partied with worked there, in addition to a few other people I knew/knew of. If we're sharing... I was napping in Psychology. I woke up to see the first run of the first plane, and proceeded to watch it for the remainder of the period. Then I went off and started beating the s**t out of the wall on my way to my next class. The process repeated for the rest of the day, ending with me punching one of my friends in the gut when he made a crack about something or other.
I was... more emotional then I should have been. I didn't know anyone, and I didn't particularly care that we had been attacked, that was actually the last thing on my mind, it was just the feelings of fear and acts of survival I saw through the people's actions affecting me. I'm strange like that sweatdrop
