Rubbing her eyes, she took a deep breath, inhaling the strong aroma of coffee almost ready. She quickly got up, and made her way up the stairs on awkward just-awoken feet, and into the bathroom where she showered and grabbed a towel to head to her and Baizou's room to get clothes.

After getting dressed, Ellie couldn't decide to come downstairs, but, eventually, she just tied her hair back and bit her lip, ready to take what ever he was going to say, if nothing at all. She came downstairs in a loose blouse and khaki pants, as her barefeet patted across the floor and she ignored the overwhelming smell of coffee as she prepared her own tea.

Baizou walked back into the main room and saw that the couch was empty. He poured himself a mug of coffee and sat down at the bar, rubbing his temples. This wasn't going to be a fun evening, either, but it would be better than last night.

Ellie acted as though she didn't see him as she hummed a tune and poured her tea. After all, she didn't really know what to say.. and she was sure he was going to say something first.. After getting the mug, she carried it and walked over to a table where her art supplies had been left a few days ago, and she sat, setting down her tea and eying the supplies in front of her.

Bai looked up at her and set his mug down. "You know we have to talk, right?" He asked, taking a deep breath. "We cannot just pretend nothing happened... However, I want to see you walk down the aisle." He bit his lower lip as he dropped his pride. "I should not have snapped at you like I did. I did not know what was going on and I jumped to conclusions. For that, I am sorry."

Ellie looked up, her eyebrows raised, and leaned her head on her palm, elbow on the tabletop. "I didn't know that saying one word would have made you angry, or.. I knew so, and I just didn't feel like being ... Ugh.." she tried to arrange the words in her head, but then stuck out her tongue and dropped her head to the table. "Augh. I am sorry too, Bai.. I shouldn't-a been such a moody b***h... "she said simply, not wanting to voice her argument at only being sorry for the way he acted, and not the way that he had also spoken to her. "Ahh.. " was all she could muster, as she sat back up.

Bai rested his chin in his hand. "I... Went to sleep unsettled. I had the last word, but I did not feel like I had 'won'." He said, running his finger around the rim of his mug. "I said a few things that just came out. I should have stopped to collect myself before yelling. My headache was not a good excuse for speaking to you the way I did."

Ellie looked up, a weak smile on her face. "I didn't have an excuse for being moody, hell, I'm not even menstrating! But, I still was a b***h.. I shouldn't have said the things I said either, and .. I d'no. I am really sorry, Bai.." she said, looking up, her weak smile asking him to forgive her.

Baizou reached across the bar and took her hand. "I am sorry, too." He said, stroking the back of her hand with his thumb, "It was just a misunderstanding and our emotions were both flaring." he smiled as well. "But I really was worried about you... You are all right? You are not hurt?"

Looking up, Ellie giggled happily. "I'm fine.. if anyting, I should have been the one bitten. I was interfering.. But, I am fine. " she said, rubbing her head, and smiling at him.

"I heard most of what happened from River and Tomo talking last night." Baizou murmured, absently scratching the tip of one of his ears. He paused, then leaned in. He kissed her very softly, unsure if she were all right with it. "I love you and I was afraid I had failed your challenge, last night." He whispered.

Ellie leaned over and kissed him again, smiling warmly. "YOu could never fail me, Baizou. I will always love you. No matter what." she said, leaning on her elbow and giving him a reassuring wink, and then laughing softly.

"Good," Baizou murmured, keeping his hands on hers, "You know... I was so cold last night. I was actually kind of relieved when I woke up with you there." He stood up and walked around the bar so he could hold her from behind. "We have a whole night of cuddling to make up."

With an over dramatic hand clapped to her mouth, she gasped, "You're right!" she exclaimed, turning her head enough while still in his arms, and she laughed, falling against him. "I know. I was too cold, too.. I hoped you would not roll me off of the couch on accident.."

Sapphire walks down the stairs rather happy, more so than she's been in a while. She goes to the bar and grabs a wine cooler, without really looking at anyone, after downing it and grabbing another she looks around the bar. "Evening."
