"Well, whatever happens, I know you're not going to leave." Amane said, hugging her brother. "You promised. And don't think I won't forget!"
Another girl, with waist-length brown hair, hurried over to the door. She blinked when she saw Kira, shook her head slightly, and then flung the door open. "Oh, gosh, I'm glad you're okay!" She exclaimed, going over to Ryou. "I had been talking to you and you suddenly collasped! What happened?"
Ryou looked up at the girl with a confused look. "..." He started to say something, but coughed a little and looked to the side.

Kira said nothing but steped in waiting to be noticed.She wanted to watch him for a moment.

Ryou looked up at the door, and smiled brightly. It had been a long time since he had smiled like that, not just fake. He got to his feet and went over to the door. "Mum!" His mother had been coming in behind Kira, and that was who Ryou had smiled at. He hugged her tightly. "What's going to happen? I'm not crazy. I don't want to stay here anymore."

Kira was silent as she watched him interact.She loved to see him happy.

"Your father and I have decided that we're going to keep you here for a while." Ryou's mother said, looking as though she was about to cry. "It's for your own good, Ryou. The doctors said it might just be head damage from the accident, but the scans didn't pick anything up."
"But they are there!" Ryou exclaimed, taking a step away from her. Amane and the brunette just watched silently. "I-I saw Atem, Kawi, Yugi a-and..." He hesitated, his eyes flickering to the ground as he concentrated. "And... that other girl. Sh-she..." He trailed off, looking at his hands. His eyes widened as he realized he couldn't remember her name. "She helped me when Atem was angry at Bakura for some reason."
Ryou's mother frowned. "Bakura... the one who lives in your head and does bad things?" She asked uncertainly.

Kira had been thinking and..If this was what made him happy she wanted him to be here "ryou..." she called out softly "Tell them what they want to hear...tell them that they dont exsist....that I dont exsist..."

"No, it's not as simple as that! He doesn't 'live' in my head..." Ryou said, shaking his head. He paused when he heard something, and his eyes flickered towards where Kira was. "Because... because... he doesn't exist." This brightened Ryou's mother up, and Ryou snapped his eyes shut. "N-none of them do. But it all felt so real before. I guess I got reality and that place mixed up." He swallowed hard, and his mother quickly left to go tell a doctor. Amane and the other girl got up, following the woman, leaving Ryou alone. Ryou fell to the ground, sobbing.
Bakura entered the room, slipping inside silently. He glanced at Ryou, and went besides Kira. "What'd you do to him?" He asked softly, looking at his hikari.

Kira was quietly watching ryou "He'll be happier here..Theres not magic or evil spirts...its just a normal human life...and he has his family..He'll be better off here..." she quietly walked overand knelt down infront of ryou "...it's for the best..."

"Does he look better off?" Bakura asked, also going over to Ryou and kneeling. He narrowed his eyes in concentration, and put a hand under Ryou's chin, tilting his face up. Ryou looked up at his yami for a moment, and Bakura frowned. "Do I still not exist, boy?" He asked in a low, threatening tone that made Ryou shudder. "You don't remember anything about your 'real' family out there. Nothing about your life before waking up. And yet you choose to believe that over what you full well know is real."

Kira took bakura by the hair and pulled him away "cram a sock in it bakura.He has his parents,his sister and he lives in a normal world.He should be happy.Hell any world with you is a happy world."

Bakura nodded his head and went over to Ryou, who was sitting on the floor and watching them silently. "Where did Kawi and Ember work?"
Ryou hesitated before answering. "Hot Topic."
Bakura nodded. "What kind of shop does Yugi's grandfather own?"
There was little hesitation this time. "A gaming shop." Bakura asked a few more questions about the real world, then held up a hand to silence Ryou.
"What school does your younger sister, Amane, go to?" Ryou was silent, and Bakura smirked again. "What school do you go to?" Ryou started to answer 'Domino Hi--' but paused. He reminded himself aloud that he didn't live in Japan, he knew that much. "If you don't, or never have, lived in Japan..." Bakura asked slowly. "Then how can you understand me?" Bakura and Ryou had been speaking Japanese the whole time, while Ryou had spoken to his mother and sister in English.

Kira quietly watched asthey talked.Sureshe would have loved to snapedryouout of it so she could have him agian but she wanted him happy.She had never seen him truly smile with her like he did here.

"I-I don't..." Ryou started to say, but Bakura cut him off.
"EXACTLY. If we're all just made up, there's no way you could have learned a whole other language by something in your head." Bakura tapped his temple. "And you're only so happy being here is because of your mother and sister. Only because you know they're dead in reality, and you enjoy them so much more now. You don't remember anything but what happened in reality. You actually have friends in reality. That girl with the brown hair is probably your friend, but you don't know her. Give it up, Ryou. Just get out of this little made-up world of yours."
Ryou was leaning against the bed now, still sitting on the floor. He hadn't seemed to notice Kira yet. "Get out." He said softly, his head bowed. Bakura didn't move, so he looked up. "I said GET OUT! Okay, I now know the difference between what's real and what isn't. But the last thing I need right now is YOU here! You are the reason why I wanted to hide away from everything in the first place!"
"Listen here, boy, you do not speak to ME like that!" Bakura roared, watching as Ryou got to his feet. "YOU were the one who made it so easy to break you. You didn't stand up for yourself. Oh, no. You always had little Yugi or the pharaoh or Kira do it for you."
