Janani takes several sips of wine. To a human, they might appear gulp-sized. She then places the glass down, in front of Kal, as if asking for more. She's polite, but she doesn't like multi-tasking talking and asking for alcohol. Janani's also used to...rougher environments where asking for alcohol is as simple as slamming a glass on the table. She's not doing that, but she doesn't realize she's being a bit rude.
I'm from Heaven, silly. My wings are just really small...
Then, Janani hears Luana and Kal's response to her. She smiles as she turns around to greet the new girl.
Hi! I'm Janani Waystar Lunaris, Keeper of the Globe!

*Walks over to the bar and offers her hand up to Janani a bit hesitantly.* My name's Luana, like he said. It's nice to meet you.

Tac slowly faded in slumped over the bar from behind, his hand blackened as if it had been near a flame, though it wasn't burned, just covered in soot..ok, maybe slightly burned. Smoke seemed to rise from his hair as he slept, he had fallen asleep near a Forge. He was both frombefore and after the incident where he had a standoff with Ichiro, as time didn't pass where he was currently coming from either, not in the traditional sense anyway. He begins to stir, sniffing slightly, "Yo bro...I think yo're bruning tha bacon dude..."

Janani looks over when she smells soot and notices the sleeping form of a man. Blinking a few times, she decides this must be something about the Brink that these people have already told her. Shaking her head, she turns back to Luana and shakes her hand. Janani's palm easily covers Luana's hand in its entirety.

Ah, no thanks, K. Alcohol lowers inhibitions and kills brain cells. I'll take another one of these though. *holds up empty Pepsi bottle* It's been a bit over a week back home since I last came here. What about you?

Been a few days, Luana. :::He reaches under the bar and grabs a bottle that looks just like the one she had, and slides it over to her:::
There you go... :::He sees Tac and feels a bit more calm now that the human populaiton was rising...or rather...he thinks Tac is human. He's not sure... he sighs:::

Tac jerks awake, upright and alert, alarmed is more like it. His arm is outstretched as if he were holding a gun...but he held nothing. He looked around and slumped back down on the bar, not going back to sleep, but trying to calm down. He glances over to K, "Nothing for me, thanks." He turns his head down and rests his forehead against the surface of the bar, breathing heavily, causing moisture to condensate upon the wood. He whispered to himself, though it was loud enough for anyone that hadn't been listening to rock music all their life to discern, at least a bit anyway, "Gotta calm down...I'm not Agent 17 anymore...I'm Tac...Tacitus Nusradai. Jordan Daize....is just another part of my ever growing past."

As she turns to look at Luana, Janani notices that she's just suddenly disappeared. Blinking, she looks around for the girl. Can humans just disappear like that? She'd known sneaky, rogue humans before, but Luana didn't appear quite that way. She then looks back to Kal.
Um...where did Luana go?

Tac just remained there, head planted on the bar, muttering to himself along the same lines as he had been. When Jan asked him if he was ok he raised a hand in a sort of a dismissing, 'I'm fine' gesture.

That makes sense!
Janani pounds her right fist into her left hand...before realizing that her right shoulder still...well...hurts... She holds her breath for a moment at the jolting pain before yelping and, well...screaming. Yep. She has a boisterous (sp?) voice. It takes several seconds before she breaks down so simply saying "Owie,owie,owie!" multiple times over. Janani then grips her shoulder waiting for the pain to disappear.
That wasn't such a bright idea...
