Sarya shifts her head slightly so that she can look up at him. "Hey, sweetheart, why are you wearing your headband across your eye like that?" She had seen it before but never thought to ask why until now.

A look of shock swept across her face at the sight of his scar. Gingerly she placed a hand on his cheek as worry filled her eyes. "A fight? What happened? where?"

She didn't look up at him as she gripped the blankets slightly. "Again, I'm sorry." A tear fell from her eyes and landed softly on the blanket, wetting it slightly.
