I'm no expert but that almost sounds like post traumatic stress. I'm sure that's not the whole picture of course. But maybe the other stressful things that are happening right now are also triggering PTSD?

But maybe the other stressful things that are happening right now are also triggering PTSD? It very well could be. Or at the very least since I have a hard time forgetting things, that it is a form of built up problem. All of the psychologists and psychiatrists I have seen have been more interested in medicating the problem than by looking into the causes. So it might be there, none of them have ever managed to look and if I brought anything of the like up, they dismissed it as getting ahead of my treatment or wasting time on nonsense.

How can you ignore going after the cause and not just the symptoms if you are truly interested in recovery.

Sounds like they are milking you for more money. *sigh* It seems there are people out there in these professions that just don't care about their patents. Just give them a prescription and kick'em out the door. Where are the people who will listen and not be judgmental? Where are the ones with the kind words and the helping hands? *hugs all* All your friends are here for you. If you feel down or happy, we're all here to listen and try to help out. Good night.. Izzy gonna disappear for a little while to collect herself.

Izzy beat to the response. I think the majority of them were not outright just milking me for money though. I think that there has just been a general trend towards hitting everything with drugs as it is the common way to do things. Others I think were just lazy, complicated cases like mine are too much effort – not the "You have issues with women due to your mother, take one of these a day to relax you, and work to broaden your social horizons to bring a healthier interaction with women into effect." More than a simple, linear diagnosis and 2 or 3 step treatment plan is more effort than they want to put in.
Though my friends have done more for my mental health and recovery in the last six years than all the doctors in my entire life. Even just to tell someone can be a massive help.
Thank you to all of you.

Good day all. Hope today brings some smiles to you all.
Exxos, sorry to hear that it isn't going well. hugs I've had my share of stupid uncaring pyschiatrists in the past. Overall I don't like them.
Sorry I haven't been around Gaia much. Kinda losing interest in the site for the most part. I wont be deleting my account though and for those who want to add me on Facebook just drop me a PM and I will get ya the link. A couple of you from here already have it.
Other then that things are going fairly well overall.
