Entering through the front door, the Matron Zara releases a breath of a worn sigh as she slips herself into one of the booths. Leaning back to get a bit more comfortable, her ruby eyes glance up to look around with some curiosity.

The Matron of the first house rarely came to this place, and when she did it was always in disguise. Ulvira had to remind herself not to strike the civilians, they rudely shoved her, treating her like one of the common filth that resided here.
Ulvira sat on a bar stool, the ends of her fine, white hair were tucked into the hood of her ragged piwafwi. If she hadn't done so, everyone would have known who she was. After all, when one of your trade marks is that the ends of your hair are dyed in blood, people would have discovered that the Queen of Ulorbbath was in their midst.
Ever so discretly she kept her five vipers at her side. One of the snakes had barely stuck his head out, to look around the room. A hiss of surprise was what drew the matron's attention away from her drink. Mistress, one of the matron's from your city is here! It said through the mind link they shared.
Ulvira turned in the direction that the viper had seen the other matron. Her cold stare eyed the side of the room, finally settling on the woman. One of her brows rose when she saw which matron it was. "Zara...of the fourth house."She muttered under her breath. Ulvira wondered if the woman would recognize her.
Without another glance she turned her attention back to her drink.

Zara blinks her ruby eyes as she idly unfolds the menu sitting on the table in her booth, shifting her weight enough that she crosses her long, lean legs under the table. Every once in a while, she looks up from the menu around the nearly empty bar, only to find it surprisingly boring. Though it shouldn't be a surprise.
The entrance of a new woman earns a brief glance and a raised brow with some curiosity. A moment passes before her ruby eyes narrow slightly in thought. The corner of her full lips tugs knowingly before the Matron lowers her chin slightly with a slow nod of respect. And just as quickly as the moment came, it ebbs away, and the Drowess turns her attention back to the menu.

Ulvira saw the other matron give a slight nod out of the corner of her eye. Well, at least this one knows to show respect.Another of her vipers piped in, Ulvira was getting the feeling of approval from the snake. Yes, however that means nothing.She replied calmly, settling the viper down.
The matron finished off her drink and scooted her due amount on the table. The bartender eyed her before taking it. Ulvira finally stood, towering over most of the under creatures in the room, she was an oddity, standing at about 5'7, very tall in drow standards.
However, her awkward height did not throw her off balance, even though she was dressed in rags, she walked with the grace of a queen, her footsteps seemingly light as she walked away from the bar, she pulled the cowl over head.
She stopped and turned her head in Zara's direction, her crimson seemed to glow from under the hood as she stared at her, no emotion displayed upon her face. This was the first time Ulvira had ever seen the matron away from her palace, and as soon as things were taken care of, they would meet again, though not in this wretched place.
She knew she had drawn Zara's attention, to ignore her would have been an insult. Ulvira then turned away, leaving the bar behind.

Raising a dark, idle hand, a waitress soon approaches Zara's booth with pad in hand. She gives the waitress her order in low murmurs, the comfortable dark smile lingering on her full lips all the while. The young waitress just nods quickly before turning and disappearing into the back kitchen.
Zara closes the menu and brushes it aside on the table with her dark fingertips. Her ruby eyes glance up to see Ulvira pay for her drink before standing to leave her seat behind. The young Matron arches a white brow with some curiosity, but only lowers her eyes briefly.
