She winced and opened her eyes and her body melted into the ground and dissapeared. A moment later, ice shot from the ground in spikes, going right towards his leg. These weren't just made of ice though, she had crystalized them, which meant fire wouldn't take it down this time. She was beginning to play harder......

*Unfortunately, Hunter figured out her logic slightly too late and by the time he rematerialized in the air, his legs were bleeding. No matter he could still fix those. While he was hovering around messily bandaging his legs, part of his soul left his body and went straight for her.*

She slid through the ground and into the water and shot out of it catching her breath. It had taken a lot out of her to use a move in that manner and stay in the ground. She didn't use all chakra though, which normally helped her a lot. This case, it hadn't. She was on one knee, on the water and stood up looking at him, and then she closed her hands and a dragon formed out of the water, and not just an attack in the form of one, a fully materialized dragon of crystal. She was out of breath but the dragon was being used as a defensive technique and was covering most of her body from being attacked.

*Hunter smiled. She didn't know what to do now. His soul which had the same shape as Hunter, yet was intangible slowed down and floated about examining the dragon. Meanwhile, Hunter finished bandaging himself. He'd heal it through ijutsu later. He was reluctant to use his sword trick, couldn't get close enough. His smile had faded now. He didn't have any other trump cards. Or did he.*

*Out of the blue, a salvo of bullets made out of highly compressed fire, shot out of the tree line from where the clone had been hiding all along.*

The dragon shot out fire, and hit the other set. It had its own movement and attacks, it almost seemed alive completely on its own. She was catching her breath and watched him carefully, and stood now and got ready for another attack, keeping herself protected at the same time.

-=Neko slipped onto the porch, letting the door shut loudly behind him as he noticed the spar. He walked to the edge of the porch and watched carefully, folding his hands behind his back and speaking to himself, mostly...Maybe to the little fox, too=-
She's being too flashy with that dragon. It's doing nothing but waste chakra.

"actually no, I was testing it out......it is susposed to be used for offensive attacks, but I am working to see on how much it could withstand defensively."
She respodned to Neko, as the dragon walked onto the land, as did she, but she wasn't scratched up at all, where as hunter was all bandaged on his legs and had scratches elsewhere. She looked at him and the dragon snorted a small gust at Neko annoyed with his comment. It was almost like a summoning, it had its own reactions and everything.

I didn't have any open contracts in my office, and I doubt you had time to partner with an ice dragon. Maybe I was mistaken, maybe you can handle the stress of fighting on two fronts, while keeping something like this alive, but against Hunter, it's a disadvantage. Someone of his caliber needs your undivided attention. It's a good thing he was still just playing around.

She looked at the dragon and the dragon's head almost layed on her shoulder and snorted in Neko's face again and then walked back to the water and then dissapeared underneath, but didn't show signs of falling apart. She looked at him and her head tilted slightly. She sighed, she smiled to Hunter, but her look to him indicated she was talking with Neko now and that the spar would be held off or finished for the time being.
"what did you want to talk to me about before? And what do you mean by mistaken, you didn't think I could do something like this?"

Something like this should be simple for you, but keeping it going in the thick of things would be difficult.
-=Neko ignored the dragon. He yawned and scratched his chin. He had changed into clean clothes and taken a shower, and his skin was still darker than normal and warm to the touch=-
It's nothing important enough to interrupt a spar. Please, go ahead.

"it's okay, we were sparring until you were ready. You said you'd fill me in, and I haven't seen you in a while. Kind of curious."
She said quietly and looked at him , her eyes having the same sparkle that he always had.

Let's discuss it over some tea.
-=Neko walked inside, and began to get everything ready for tea the 'normal' way, using no chakra at all. He turned on the stove, sat a kettle of water on, and pulled down the leaves, waiting for the water to come to a boil. He was obviously stalling=-

Something was different, it was bothering her, this wasn't Neko's "norm". She sighed, sitting down as he made the key, playing along with his games of stalling for now, knowing she'd eventually get it out of him one way or another, but it would be soon.

H4X "True, True, I sort of made that one up as I went" she sighed, she had learned a few techniques in the time she had been here, but not as many as she thought she would have.
"I really do miss her, but I don't have any right to try to be a mother to her now, and from what I've heard she looks to be in her early twenties in human years, seems like I managed to miss her whole childhood" Lina sighed and looked down at the ground, resting her forehead on her hands. "So?" Ishira smiled lightly, putting her head in her hands that now propped themselves on her knees. She sighed and closed her eyes, her smile no where close to fading. "If you dont feel you can be her mother, then why not be her friend? People in their early twenties are easy to get along with, from my experiance anyways.. Youd be able to be close to her and learn who she is. Yes, you missed her childhood, but that doesnt say you cant be there for her.. You should try it... just once."
