*Mastema chuckles, watching the children crowd Nana.... knowing her to be the giving parent more than often* Ah... of course. It is time to introduce you to another tool that you will be able to use here. Zio.... *Mastema pronounced the name strongly*
Zio: Greetings, Lord Mastema. How may I be of service?
I have no difficult tasks for you at the moment. I merely wish for the children to get "acquainted" with you
Zio: Acknowledged. Shall I introduce myself?

Zio: Certainly. *The screen hovered around, with a waving line that reacted when Zio spoke* Greetings Lord Micha, Lord Eecheb, and Lady Trilla. I am citadel serivce program A.I. code named Zio. My purpose is to facilitate your access to the citadel and its possessions to whatever extent I am allowed and capable. Do you wish for a more detailed description?
*He chuckled* I do not believe that will be necessary Zio.

*Trilla is the first one to perk up. She had sad Zio's name once before to temporarily stop the metal man who brought her back to the room that one day*

Zio, as it says, can help you with most of your needs, I would think. However, if you need either your mother or myself, Zio can also allow you to call either of us. I believe retrieving food is well within Zio's limits. So then.... Zio, the children would like something from the citadel cafeteria
Zio: Very well. Is there a specific type of food you would like?
Perhaps. *Mastema looked to the children* Do any of you have your own requests?

*Eecheb shrugs a little. He liked what, he had eaten the last time, but didn't know what it was called. Micha as always remained silent, not voicing any opinion. They all had their own tastes, but just didn't know the words for it. Perhaps a visual list would change things around a little*

Zio: Perhaps a menu would be of assistance.
Most likely. Zio show each of the children a visual menu. They are not yet familiar with names
Zio: acknowledged *A red screen appeared in front of each child. It had a list of basic foods and snacks with a small image placed by the name*

Eecheb: Hmm...
*The children each pick out a few select items. To say their eyes were bigger than their stomaches in this case didn't apply, as like Nana they instead had a mysterious orb. It was actually slightly surprising that it was also transferable to the children. As far as Nana knew it should not be, but that was just how things happened to develop. The children finish selecting their items. Of course everything on Trilla's list was red, in one shade or another. Trilla's list included some marrichino cherries, a bright red apple, red pepper slices, a few strawberries, and nectorine. True nectorines weren't entirely red but the side that Trilla saw certainly was. Eecheb had found the mashed potatoes and peas again, and a side of salmon. His list also consisted of a familiar looking bottle with blue liquid that read "blue rasburry". Finally, Micha had chosen a slightly wider variety of items. These included: three orange wheels, beef roast with peppered gravy, mixed vegetables, a glass of juice of some sort, along with a glass of milk, a few grapes, a slice of garlic bread, and a small bowl of rice noodles*
Trilla: All red! 4laugh
Eecheb: whee heart

*Mastema chuckled lightly* Mm hmm..... Zio, have their requests transported to their respective tables
Zio: Acknowledged *There was some sort of cabinet/table by each child's bed, so that was what Mastema was referring to. The first to appear is Trilla's selection, on several plates. Then Micha's followed a few seconds later, since his took the longest to assemble. And a moment later Eecheb's appeared* Task complete.

*The children each look to the little tables. Micha had remained on his bed so he didn't have far to go. Before Any of the children can start eating Nana speaks up a little. If anything, she wanted to make sure they had a start on manors. Now was the time to teach them "thank you", two words which Nana had used infront of them before*

Now, before you start to eat, would you thank Zio for the food and your father for teaching you about Zio?

*Micha looks at Mastema and the floating screen for a moment, then turns his head away from each*

Perhaps. Surely if the necessity is great enough, the child will speak up to call Zio. I have a feeling that he has the ability to do so. Regardless, he is the most matured of the three, so he is the least in need of assistance. *Mastema begain climbing the stairs*

Well he certainly is calmer, I'll give him that. Also the first to leave the tower.

At least now they have shoes, so if they venture out, at least their feet won't be ingured as Micha's were.

If he still refuses to speak however, I do hope he comes up with another form of communication. Otherwise if something is ever the matter I won't be able to help him.

*Mastema nodded* As he ages I am sure he will come to understand the importance of being able to communicate, which will lead him to develop such an ability. I see no reason to worry over them just yet, and I believe we can trust their abilities. *He looked back to her, slightly grinning* Is there anything else on your mind?
