[Foxfire gave the two kits an encouraging smile as they left, before shifting his gaze back to Dicefoot.]
"No no, nothing's wrong. I've never met Dicefoot before, why do you ask?"
[He turned to Serpentfang and asked, feigning surprise and innocence.]
"No, I don't need any repayment. And Galestar would probably rip your fur off when he realises he gave a Seaclan tom one of Breezeclan's rabbits, since prey is so scarce now."
[He smiled as he joked, none of the "darkness" that Dicefoot sensed showing at all. To everyone, he just seems like a strong and loyal Seaclan tom, nothing more.]
"Still, it makes me wonder why there was a fox at the border and no one knew about it. I thought foxes rarely came to Seaclan's side since it's so rocky..." ______________________________

[Dicefoot glanced to them, showing a 'masking' look of curiosity.]
"Galestar probably wouldn't be happy to know you guys were roaming around the clans- and on a gathering night, too. Mind explaining what you were doing there?"

[Serpentfang looked up and tilted her head couriosely at Dicefoot's question.] "The borders? Serpentfang went out hunting for the clan. The fresh kill pile is very small. She supposes Snowcherry was out doing the same." [She looked at her paws meekly when she mentioned Galestar and the gathering.] "Serpentfang didnt expect to be gone long, honest. She told Galestar she would be out hunting before leaving. As for the gathering it looks like she wont be able to go due to her condition. Sperentfang cant leave Snowcherry like this." Is she acusing me of something? Serpentfang hopes not, she didnt mean any harm. "Serpentfang is sorry if she worried you Dicefoot."

[Caried on the cold breeze the remainder of Talons flock approached. Their eyes scanned the clan below.] "Wow, its practicably empty!" "Yeah, those other guys get all the fun." "Hay! I think i see kittens!" [The flock looked down to see Firekit, Dicefoot, and Moonkit and Sunkit. With a loud battle screech the rained down upon the diminished clan, their talons and sharp beaks striking them, sending fur flying. From inside the cave Serpentfang could see a huged bird of pray swoop down and snatch Dicefoot off the ground she stood.] "DICEFOOT!!" [Desperately she lept up and tried to catch her but the pain forced her to stay down. She hissed in rage as the eagle gave her a smug smile in return. Firekit was soon to follow as yet another swooped down but missed him barley, returning to the sky for another attack.]

Get your big fat rumps down here so I can shred them up to chunks of eagle meat!"[The kit unsheathed his claws and looked up at one of the eagles."Your next, chicken.." Just get back up when it knocks you down

[Foxfire gasped in surprise as enormous birds entered Seaclan, starting to attack the cats. Eagles here...what if they came to Seaclan? He had to go back and defend his clan! Of course, he could be happier if they all died, but he had to put on his "loyal cat" show.]
"I'll explain myself to Galestar later, now I have to see if Seaclan's ok!"
[He yowled over his shoulder as he dashed out from the medicine cat's den, towards Seaclan.] ______________________________

Gray Stripe09 (um... sorry 4 interrupting... but can i get a quick summary? also does any1 know what happened 2 my sandkit??? XD... im lost sorry... ill delete this...l8r) ((in short everyone left for the gathering. Sepentfang came into camp with a seaclan cat, Foxfire and unconscious Snowcherry. Dicefoot senses a darkness in the saeclan cat and feels darkness in herself. He left. The eagles are taking advantage the the clan is at the gathering and are starting to attack. smile ))
