[ Dawn : Narnia : Grand Hall] Dawn glared at Kichi, Alan and Daniel, "Don't down play and think you know exactly how the rest of us feel on the matter." she said in a low voice to the three.
She watched as Joe left with a sympathetic look. She almost followed, but figured it was best to leave the fighter alone. Last thing she wanted to do was upset him more than he already was.
The dancer glanced over to Nanaki, where she last saw her niece, but Krystal was gone.
"Oh no where did Krystal go?" Dawn said looking around the crowded room for the girl who ran off. Though she knew it was safe, inside she was panicking.~*~ ~*~ ~*~ While all the grown up conversations were going on, and the strange dog ignored her, Krystal wandered outside and started playing. The girl looked up as Joe walked outside. She saw he looked upset and walked shyly over to him.
"You sad?" she said in a soft voice when she got closer. The little girl touched his hand gently, "Want a hug?"[[ Mod Note : Actually, Joe's post just said he went out, Rhiko hasn't dictated which of the four wings he walked into yet. Though, Kyle and Josh are in the garden, I know that much. Unless Rhiko already told you where he went! -fJ ]]

[Amy : Narnia : Grand Hall -> Southwest Wing]
"I don't know if that's one of them, or if that's just, like, an identification thing," Amy said, looking at the golden plaque bolted to the stone near the Lucy statue. Lucy could be considered a savior, Amy supposed. It was possible. It still seemed a little out of place; Lucy was more "Daughter of Eve" plaque material.
Zee shrugged. "It could be a part of the game. Anyway, it's easy enough to remember. Come on." He continued on to the southwest wing, Amy by his side.

[[Narration - The Southwest Wing: The Grand Library]] Both Amy, Zee and Joe moved to the same door, Joe only a few seconds behind, as the pair of riddle hunters had already gotten a head start long before the fearless leader departed from the group with figurative steam still rising from his forehead and ears. The giant double doors parted, first, into a comfy sitting room. Couches, small tables, desks, potted plants, crystal hooded chandelier lamps, and other fine, exquisite attire colored with soft lavender and rose accents atop black furniture. The tables and desks were adorned with various piles of books, quill pens, and ink wells as well as a few select bottles of wine and empty glasses set apart from the reading material. Through the next door opened into a much more grandiose sight. Spanning five whole stories including 3 above and one below, the southwest wing was the home of the castle's grand library. Bookcases everywhere varied in size from a few feet to several stories high with ladders on wheeled tracks that allowed access to the higher shelves. The main entrance led to a wide open lane right down he middle of a pathway with guard rails on both sides allowing one to look down and see that not only did the library span upwards but also down and the path itself was in actuality placed atop a pair of massive bookshelves back to back. Hanging chandeliers elevated at varying levels between the multiple floored library gave the entrance a dizzying feel as one could almost imagine themselves walking in the air by the ceiling rather than on the ground floor of the rest of the castle. At the middle of the library's semi-circle shaped floor, was a large circle plateau where smaller bookshelves ran in from the outside edge to the center, where a smaller circle remained clear of shelves, instead occupied by tables and chairs lit by a single grand chandelier that glittered and shone bright enough to be its own sun amidst the massive collection of tomes. It was here one could find the library's golden plaque, situated directly in front of where one traveling from the main hall would have to pass and see: "No one wants me, but evvery one needs me. Fantasy and mystery are my friends. History and science are my ennemies." At the far end of the semi-circle, or cone shaped wing, was a stone wall with grand circular windows supported with carved images depicting various stories in the muntin. These curved up and overhead to form a dome, at the top of which the design was that of dancing figures twirling round and round like a zeotrope that would play out if one where to imitate them and spin as well. The blizzard could still be seen whipping about beyond the glass and brilliant scarlet and gold drapes and half-drawn curtains. There were doors to the battlements but they were locked, sealed tight to keep out the cold and moisture. Running counter-clockwise along that same wall was a staircase leading up and around and apparently led back through doors to the main hall's second floor balconies.

[Amy : Narnia : Southwest Wing : Sitting Room -> Library]
Amy was tempted to stop at the sitting room, but the Grand Hall was right behind them, and she felt the need to distance herself from it a bit more. There didn't appear to be any riddles in this room, not obvious ones anyway, and so they continued on.
The next room was simply breathtaking. Her immediate thought was of the library in Beauty and the Beast. Zee must have read her mind, because he started teasing her immediately.
"Eeee!" it was a fair approximation of her squeal, "Look at all the books, babe! Get excited and run around in Amy Book Land!"
"I will! and I'll look at all the stuff, and I'll make you dance with me, and it will be like Beauty and the Beast." Amy said.
He put a hand on either of her shoulders and shook her, "It's like we're in a fairy tale!" This ended in a hug, followed by him picking her up and carrying her across the bookshelf-walkway. The move somewhat terrified her, considering the illusion of walking on air now turned into one of being carried by someone who was walking on air, but if anyone was allowed to pick her up, it was Zee.
He set her down in front of the plaque. They considered it for a moment, but Amy wanted to be twirled, and that was the more pressing thing. The plaque would still be there when they were done dancing. Amy had no rhythm, and Zee was about a head or so taller than her, but they made it work. He twirled her around, pulled her back to him, and picked her up by under her arms and spun her around until she was dizzy.

[[Narration - The Opening Act]] With the party goers splitting off into their respective groups and enjoying the festivities, time passed graciously with the orchestra promoting an air of sophistication and soft excitement. In such a grand location with music and dancing, food and drink of all kinds, and people of all races and sizes it was no surprise that it didn't take long for the tension left by the groups argument to subside and dissipate into vague memory. After all, the light bearers were there to celebrate, have fun, and enjoy themselves at a party made specifically to celebrate them and their heroic deeds. At some point, several of the previously missing earthlings came together to talk and go over the many things they'd experienced before they'd arrived here, and their feelings about finally being reunited with their loved ones. Of those gathered were Linda, Richard the Gray, Elliot, Sven, Joe the Stranger's mother, as well as several other loved ones related to Sayrike, Jenny, Matthew, Dani, and Anthony*. Despite the amicable atmosphere brought on by the orchestra's song, the group had difficulty conversing with all the noise. So after having spent adequate time with their loved one's reunion, the group of earthlings bid the others a temporary farewell, mentioning something about having another surprise for their light-bearing relatives or friends, insisting they stay in the grand hall for the time being. They moved past the statues of Susan, the White Witch, and Edmund, all marked by the same golden plaques as Lucy's statue, reading respectively: "The Heretic, The Villain, The Traittor" The group passed through the door between Jadis and Edmund to the northeast wing, leaving behind their respective loved ones in the grand hall. As the heavy door shut behind them, the sounds of their jovial procession was silenced with a dull resounding thud. At that moment, the lights began to dim, the soft, gentle drop like at the beginning of a movie or play. The orchestral and chorus grew with intensity, starting from a subtle whisper-like chant before exploding into a tone similar to a military march quickly switching to a sound appropriate for a brand new performance. Lights danced across the grand hall and all the other wings of the castle as the chandeliers shivered in resonance with the explosive chorus which seemed to pass through the wings of the castle unhindered by the walls separating them. [[BGM: Katayoku no Tori by Shikata Akiko from Umineko]] Upon the plateau next to the throne, dancers in thin, veil-like clothing took the stage, moving in hypnotic motions, a pair of them moving together like mirrors across the floor, twirling, bending and leaping with the music, trailing long, super-thin streamers from their wrists, elbows and shoulders the width of scarves, leaving river like flows in their wake. At some point mid-song, snow, or what seemed to be began falling in the main hall and everywhere else in the castle. Sparkling white flecks amid the dim lighting made an illusion of walking among the stars, it was a truly magical experience regardless where one stood in the castle. At the climax of the song, the music suddenly dropped, slowing and calming the lights brightening ever so slightly, better illuminating the castle. As the progression of music continued with its soft note, the falling snow changed pink, like cherry blossoms in spring. The orchestra exploded once more, the petals scattering and swirling around all the guests as through caught up in a gust. Before they knew it, the petals became a river flowing about the castle, then, that river into people's shapes dancing through the air as the dryads picked up a swift waltz. At some point, dancers dressed like the statues that lined the grand hall joined the veiled pair on the stage, dancing while simultaneously acting out the history of Narnia in a smooth melodic fashion. As the song built up for its finale, the dancers joined together with the floral dancers in the sky matching the same dance across all the entertainers. They moved down from the stage traveling across the floor till each and every light bearer in the grand hall was approached by a dancer shrouded swirling rose petals. The music reached the climax and after each dancer bowed before their respective hero, the music ended with blast from the drums, symbols, and strings. The dryads in the air and the roses around the dancers exploded in a storm with thunderous applause, the dancers vanishing from sight midst scattered flowers and the momentary blindness as the lights flashed back to their regular illumination. "Welcome everyone," came the voice of the woman in blue who at some point had moved to the stage and stood before the throne, arms wide addressing the entire party, "Welcome and thank you for attending this banquet provided by the King-To-Be. We gather here tonight, Narnians and otherwise, to honor the valiant deeds of The Bearers of Light! The chosen heroes of Aslan who rose to the challenge and defended our home from invaders of darkness. Please, join me now in a round of applause for our heroes."The grand hall roared with enthusiasm, cheers like a battle cry erupted from the guests, whistles, clapping and cried of joy all came together. Everyone turned to look at the closest hero, smiles, some visible, others plaster shone their direction, beaming with delight. "It is thanks only to them that we are allowed to gather here this night and celebrate the crowning of a new king. We owe everything to them. Let us all treat them appropriately," the woman looked around to each of the earthlings, "We will do all we can this eve, so that this rest is as peaceful as possible. Thank you, all of you. We are forever in your debt."With that, the woman bowed, and with her, the rest of the banquet followed suit leaving only the earthlings and the other bearers of light standing midst the crowd. After an appropriate amount of time, everyone rose once more, returning to their previous activities. The woman in blue, returned across the hall to her place by the circle of couches by the fireplace. (( DM Note: * - I may have missed one, but all the earthlings being GM'd by Kyle are meant to be on this list. Also, there has been a small time skip of about 10-15 minutes. In that time no further exploration of the castle was performed, but people are welcome to have done things and moved about within the places that have already been discussed, including: The Grand Hall, The Southeast Wing - The Royal Garden, The Southwest Wing - The Grand Library, and both sitting rooms by the entrance and library respectively. You CAN NOT leave the castle or go outside. There's a blizzard outside so every window has been locked as well as every exit to keep out any potential unwanted guests. Damage to the castle, regardless of your affiliation will result in being detained(gently) and escorted out of the party to a holding cell in the unexplored northwest wing. Do try and behave appropriately, this IS a royal banquet after all. Tehehe~ Edit: I should also mention that the loved ones currently located in the Northeast wing, are not currently RP-able, and that ONLY those listed in the red text are currently in the northeast wing.))

[ Kyle : Narnia : Atrium ]The silence of the atrium--or, at least, the lowered noise--was tranquil enough that the two brothers found themselves more at ease, looking around at the various flowers, chatting with one another. But even still, Josh was unenthused about the garden, and Kyle was distracted.I know this will be painful, but... Staring at some of the hanging, glowing flowers above a fountain, his mind was grinding. Normally, his stream of consciousness was swift--erratic, but swift, twisting here, turning there, one idea prompting a charge into synapses that had nothing to do with the previous except, perhaps, relative proximity. But not now. Now, it was as if the stream, the raging river, had struck a wall. His mind was reaching for something, but couldn't reach it, and his subconscious seemed absolutely obsessed with the unattainable concept. It was if his mental energy was just building and building at this wall, trying to figure out what was there.
Every so often, his thoughts would bounce to something else, get distracted, but even that would somehow lead to this wall, this... dam. It was like all roads led to Rome, but the city gates wouldn't budge.
Perhaps the worst part of it all was that Kyle didn't even know what was causing the frustration.... you need to see. "Any luck with the riddle?" Josh asked from a short ways down, having moved on to another collection of bushes, these looking more ordinary and terrestrial. "Eh, don't really know enough horticulture," Kyle said, shrugging as he moved away from the fountain, though his eyes kept dancing between the lights."Well, it doesn't really sound all that complete, either," Josh added. "I heard the king had something of a riddle split up and around, so maybe it's just part of the whole.""Mm."
The two fell silent again, and Kyle didn't try to alter it. He was too caught up elsewhere. A few minutes seemed to pass.To know what it is you understand. "Did you guys lose anyone along the way? Or were you all split until recently?" Kyle asked, turning to face his brother."Mostly the latter," he replied. "No one's mentioned losing anyone along the way, though, but I guess it's possible. You?"He hesitated, his mind still grinding. Still, every dam had its pressure releases.
"Yeah," he finally said, sighing. "Her name was Rachel. And indirectly, it's my fault."You're so close to freedom. "Whaddya mean?"Before anything else could be said, the music and atmosphere started to change. Sharing a look, the young brother shrugged. "Tell me what happened?""In a sec." Kyle started moving toward the exit, wanting to see what the sudden fuss was about.--- The pomp and praise of the mini-speech reminded Kyle of the parade earlier that day. Even the feeling of awkward timing, though he couldn't quite place that feeling this time around--all that had happened beforehand was a stroll through the blizzard.
Deciding to go back into the Atrium, the brothers stopped to grab some food on the way in, each getting a plate and some silverware before moving in and sitting at one of the spread out benches. Josh dug in, but Kyle still wasn't all that hungry."So. 'Indirectly'?" Josh repeated, mostly paying attention to his food. "Sounds like you're being too hard on yourself again."Don't stop thinking. "It's... it wasn't me, specifically. It's a weird story," he said, pointlessly staring at his food. "See, a few days ago, some bad guys made replicas of us, using only our darkness. They've been wreaking havoc ever since.""So your dark replica killed her," Josh summed up, raising an eyebrow. "Not you.""Right. Well," he said, his mouth twisting somewhat in contemplation. "Took her heart, anyway. So she's not technically dead."That's right. "Can't you get it back, then?""Yeah, I've... been thinking about that a lot tonight," he said, moving his food around his plate. "I just..."
His mind started grinding again. Thoughts slammed against that wall over and over, making his head pound. His eyes unconsciously forced themselves shut as a headache flooded him, and he could feel every pulse of his heart in his skull as occasional thrums of pain. He could hear a high-pitched whine somewhere distant, all around him, inside his ears...Where is her heart, Kyle? "Hey, you okay?""Yeah, just... just a headache," he said, resisting the urge to wince as a particularly powerful pulse hit. When he looked around, he saw Josh's plate empty. With a small smile, he handed Josh his plate. "No one seems to make ibuprofen around here."
He seemed to relax--or at least try to--as he fiddled with the silverware in his hands, looking at himself in their reflections. But as Josh ate and talked about the things he missed from Earth, a single thought roared like a fast-moving flood.
Where... is her heart?

[Kyla: Elle: Narnia: Grand Hall> Hallways]
“Not true, not true I’m still a big cry baby you know?”
“But that’s just who you are when you’re honest”- the taller youth replied placing a hand on her head again in that place which made her stop blabbering and squirm instead in protest.
“Now look whose become qa bit snotty mess eh?” “..sh-shuddup!...” They both quieted down as other members of their motley group began to talk, and conversation turned to that of a Negator- So that’s how Joe lost his eye? Really strange they’d have such a thing here. As if to test it out- she tried to contact Tyue again- but her summon did not respond. Now it made sense… and she didn’t like it. She lifted a hand in a typical instinctive flourish which would summon her book but the object did not appear. Elle blinked at her curiously-“ was….that supposed to do something?”
“My powers… they’re right. We can’t use our magic in here. I can’t here Tyue at all.”
She felt strange, more disturbed she was cut off form a very personal side of herself like this. Elle could read his sisters body language like the books she read-“ Tyue? You mean your imaginary friend? From like... we were kids?” his brow raised in more than just awe, but concern. “Tyue became real, and manifested as my summon, Carbuncle of all things. But I can’t here Tyue at all…It’s disturbing.” Kyla’s brother seemed to share her sentiment on the issue- “ How can something like that cut you off from something that was a part of you?”
“I don’t know. I suppose in this state anything is possible. I've become more and more aware just how...seperate.. Tyue is from me now.” She replied looking around at everyone. Some people had left, like Kyle with his brother. She assumed it was him. Another took his leave, Joe, Kyla turned from Elle to watch Joe walk off in a huff after telling a few people off Elle shrugged-“It seems like you’re not the only one upset by this set up. Who’s that?” “That’s Joe. He’s our leader. He’s got a lot on his plate right now; no doubt the Negator is not a welcome topic. All this stress can’t be good for him.” Her brow creased, she didn’t like the idea of him just wandering off like that for some reason.
When asked about their family and she got mixed result for an answer from Elliott. “Mom was pretty hurt, emotionally and physically… she took it hard, and it was equally hard on her body but she’s resting upstairs. When she heard you were alive- her condition really improved. Dads’ been her steadfast confidant.” Kyla felt a pang of worry. Her mother always took loss of family hard. She never recovered from the loss of her brother, Kyla’s uncle, so no doubt… losing everyone, including her own children would hurt her in ways that would manifest physically. Kyla wanted to see her. To let her know she was ok. “- …actually I wanted to ask. Have you found our sister?” Elle asked which caught Kyla off guard.
The artist stood still and looked up at Elle then, his handsome features overcast by a shadow of anxiety. He could see the answer in her face before she even said it- but just how much of the incident did he remember? “…no… not since it happened. I’ve not seen her…” It was true, she’d not seen her. Then why did she taste ashes in her mouth, like she’s just spouted a terrible lie. But looking into Elle’s face now, his down cast eyes as her held their hands together, she couldn’t say any more.
“I guess… it was too much to expect we all made it out. Still, I’m glad you’re alive Kai. I heard you’ve been busy. Saving people. You got powers too. Heh it’s just like those times we play make-believe – what would you do if you-…insert crazy fantasy scenario here- right?” the two chuckled bitterly, but it was genuine. Like some sick wish fulfillment of an epic adventure they always wished to have. “I wish it started differently. This …adventure of mine… I wish we could have embarked together. Like we promised.” “hey- nothing is perfect, and don’t think for a second I hold that against your or something ok? It worked out in the end… kinda... we’re here now.” It's true they were. But at what cost? was having a wish come true worth the lives of everyone on earth. Of course not. Which made it hard to be truly happy- the guilt bit into her like sharp canines. Kyla wanted to exit the hall and sit down, all these people around, no doubt Elliott wasn’t feeling pretty hot. Crowds triggered his anxiety badly- and it amazing he was doing so well. No doubt for her sake, he was too kind for his own good. But when Kyla offered they go explore away from people- he said they had something else to show them. Releasing him reluctantly Kyla watched as Elliott along with other earthlings to see too another big surprise. “b-but shouldn’t something tell the others who left?” Kyla asked openly walking a bit after them. Standing there by the statue of Lucy she read the plaque across fomr her for the witch and sighed. “…talk about polerized.. Lucy of all people her complete and total opposite right? ” But then the doors closed and the musical performance started. She had no choice for now but to watch as they were immersed in a scene that would make Circ Du Solei give up their day job. Something was falling from the ceiling. Kyla reached out a hand to it- she paused a moment, something about it- that moment, struck an odd feeling in her mind. Another moment when she reached out her hand to something sparkling in the air and- The memory cut off and she was sucked back into the moment at hand. She wished she could have recorded what she saw. It was too precious. But perhaps this time she would have to commit it to her visual memory as bets she could. Once the performance was done she turned a shade of pink in the cheeks as they were washed with accolades and praise. She didn’t feel like she deserved a lick of it though. Still the artist did her best to be gracious, bowing or… curtsying with her dress and thanking them.
When they were finished Kyla decided she needed some air… and to check on Joe. Assuming she even knew which way he went. If anything else were to happen she’d check back, and so Kyla went to a door to venture out and find their missing leader.

[[??? : Narnia : Royal Atrium]] As the boys talked and pondered their dilemmas, there was a cough from nearby. Were they to look, Josh and Kyle would see an elderly woman dressed in a simple green and brown dress approaching them with a grandmotherly smile showing beneath a simple white domino mask. A new song could be heard lightly while performed in the grand hall, "Good evening children," she said softly, though they were far from children, from her perspective, it's possible even 40 year old men could be considered children, "If I may be so bold, is something the matter dear," she looked to Kyle, "You look troubled."[[ BGM: Ricordando il passato from Umineko]]

[Joe: Narnia: Library]
The male frowned as he wandered the library, having ignored what was going on in main hall. He was thankful it was less crowded, but...he wasn't happy that none of the windows opened and the doors were locked. There went the cooling down air idea.
So there he was, warm and frustrated, but at least he was calming down. That was a good thing. And as he browsed the shelves of books, he frowned. His fingers tickled the spines but none of them really appealed to him. He wasn't in a reading mood, he was just in a 'get me out of this place' mood.
He jumped a little as someone spoke to him. A little girl asking if he was sad. She was quiet, young...and he smiled a little, though it wasn't exactly beaming with happiness. "Mm, a little." At the ask for a hug, he shook his head. "Nah, but thank you. You're sweet." He kind of awkwardly lingered after that. Mainly cause he didn't...know what else to say, but didn't...really know where to go, or what to do, or if he should leave this kid alone.
"Do...uh...where's your uh...parents?"

{James : Narnia : Grand Hall}
James hadn’t left his dad aside from going to get a bit of food and drink for the both of them. He was still uneasy, trying to piece everything together. He had had from some of the Earthlings as well as watching their reactions that there was a negator in place, which explained the lack of a connection to his summon and magic. While it was understandable for security reasons, it was inconsiderate at the least given their history with the machina. It was the third time the corsair had lost connection to his summon and he dreaded the feeling. So much so that if he could have left the castle, he would have just to have a word with Fenrir and return. However, the blizzard outside and the guards at the door were a sure fire indication he couldn’t leave. He looked at his father, while he was delighted to see him again the fact that they hadn’t been told that they had been found and saved was borderline infuriating, surely they should have been informed immediately that there were more survivors, especially since it seemed they had also gained powers…
Then there was the absence of his wife, Michelle. Who had been safe at the castle and had also been a part of the battle at Narnia. Why wasn’t she here? Did she not deserve to be here? If he asked one of the people of the castle would they have any kind of answer for him. Her absence, especially when a number of others who had stayed at the castle and even the Turk, Daniel was here just made no sense. Now more than ever, the corsair wanted his wife here, a voice of reason, or comfort if nothing else.
Lost in his own thoughts, he barely acknowledged or even responded as his dad left with a gentle hug and warm smile mentioning something about another surprise that they had to prepare. He watched as he left with the other relatives and friends, all of them seemingly at the same time, to the same cue as they went out the same door to a different wing.
’That’s a bit odd… maybe they’ve planned this all out beforehand or something.’ The gunner thought, half expecting a reply from Fenrir though of course none came.
The corsair didn’t move for awhile, watching the dancing and listening to the music trying to relax and be able to enjoy himself. He had let go of his apprehensions and been able to enjoy the parade and felt like he should have been able to do the same here too. That was until the music ended and the woman and blue moved to the stage and began to speak ending in issuing a round of applause to the “Bearers of Light” being them. The corsair couldn’t help but feel slightly uncomfortable as a number of the guests looked in his direction as he had been the closest one to them. He gave them a nervous smile in return as the woman concluded her speech and they all bowed, which only made it worse. When it was all said and done the guests returned to their activities, the corsair out of their focus once again.
”I need some air….,” The corsair muttered to himself as he made his way towards the Northwest exit which had been the closest one to him at this point. Without another thought he opened the door not caring what was beyond it, just hoping it was something with less people and less attention. He wasn’t planning to be away from the Hall for too long. He just wanted some time away from it all.

[Dawn : Narnia : Library]
Krystal smiled as she pointed to the door leading to the main hall.
"Dawn is in there," Krystal said then looked up at Joe, "My name's Krystal. You?"
A few short moments later, Dawn came into the room her face full of worry. After looking all over the main hall and not finding her. She decided to explore the other rooms. Praying that her niece didn't wander out into the storm and then got locked out.
"Oh Joe," Dawn said seeing the familiar face as Krystal playfully hid behind Joe's legs as she came closer, "Sorry to interrupt, but have you seen a little girl walk wearing a pink dress. Please tell me you have."

[[Narration : Northwest Wing - The Service Wing]] As James moved to the northwest exit to the grand hall, he passed underneath Aslan's statue, as well as passing between it and Peter's statue, both had golden plaques like all the others: "The God," and, "The Hero" Without any interest in the plaques himself, he passed through the door and entered into, likely the least flattering wing of the castle. Redesigned from what was originally the castle dungeon, the northwest wing had been turned into a massive store room, kitchen, laundromat, and even minor armory with several swords, glaives, bows, arrows, and maces locked behind the remains of an old cell. At the back most part of the large hallway that split off into the various parts of the wing were several beds separated between cells, some with barred doors, others without doors at all. On some of them, one could see a guest or two laying down groaning about headaches or upset stomachs, one too many drinks in too short a time more than likely. Several square holes lined the right wall, every other containing four ropes or chains tied to wooden slabs. The air here was warm by the entrance, but got progressively cooler the farther one went towards the back of the wing where the cells were set up to house guests comfortably. Servants moved about performing various menial tasks or seeing to the alcohol addled guests often going in and out of a single door that went into a closed off area with a sign that read, "Servant Quarters." One entered at the top of a staircase that overlooked the initial clearing. The stairs took an odd roundabout way of reaching the ground floor, first cutting to the right, before half way retreating back to the left before touching down. At the center of the clearing before one entered the hallway lined with stone and metal bars, was a stone pedestal with a single golden plaque: "I am onee, and I am many. For I can be you, or you could be mee."

[Amy : Narnia : Southwest Wing : Library]
Zee stopped spinning Amy when they heard the music from the Grand Hall. Amy was still dizzy as the snow began to fall, spinning across her vision over and over again. The snow turned into pink petals, and gathered together, flowing through the castle like ribbons.
They could hear a speech being given, followed by applause. It was around this time they also noticed Joe and a little girl in the library as well. Dawn came in shortly thereafter.
Zee looked to Amy, then nodded toward the staircase leading up and around.
The conversation turned back to the riddle as they walked up the stairs. "There were errors in riddle," Amy said, "'Every' was spelled with two v's, and 'enemies' was spelled with two n's. Think it means something?"
Zee shrugged. "We probably won't be able to tell until we have all the clues."

[Kyla: The South West Wing> sitting room]
She knew she couldn’t stay long, but Kyla had to check on Joe and the other who passed through, how else would they know about the surprise then to come right?
Her gown was a swish of silk around her legs, reflecting any light source in it’s cool off white colors. The embroidery of the lace was visible in the low light. She caught her reflection in a surface as she walked and thought absently, her hair had grown longer than she ever thought it could before- perhaps the unnatural conditions of this place.
She stopped in the sitting room a moment, looking at the various times assorted there and thinking a moment she smirked and reached for an ink well, a quill and an empty pages book if it was available. Why provide books and writing material otherwise? If she couldn’t summon her sketchbook, she’d default to her original method of craft- just like back home. How many times did she tuff paper and pencils into her purse everywhere she went? Even to church.
The familiar weight and feel of the tools was comforting in her hands, she felt more complete this way. She hadn’t eaten or drank anything yet- and eyed the bottle of wine by the books a moment.
‘I really should find Joe and the others first and let them know…’ she could always grab a cup of wine on the way back.

[ Kyle : Narnia : Atrium ]The sudden approach of the older woman took both young men by surprise, Josh slowing his chewing pace and Kyle straightening his back, ending his playful twisting of the silverware as he returned them, and his hands, to his lap.NO. "Ah, just thinking about the past week, is all," he responded, giving the older woman a reassuring smile. "Look troubled because the week was troubling. Thanks for the concern, though."
