(Dude...1. I'm faster than you...by a lot. 2. I don't track you by scent, I track you by chakra signature. It's a non elemental ninjutsu, so you can't escape me)
Zane sighed. He can't keep this up much longer...he's just a genin and he's carrying someone. He kept following.

((This is stupid. All of us are far faster than kai's character so we should've caught him a long time ago. I say we stopped kai from moving now, here at the gates, because I don't even think you're allowed to just enter a village and leave it all in the same post.))

((He never entered just stopped at the gates.You started tracking him very lateso your behind.Zane had to call his monkey thing and when zane left leaf Ty was already in the Rain fall foresst.So yea,this is just what i think tho, and Ty is by wind country he left here before zane left leaf.
also how are you faster?Zane did some 8th thing and was very close to kai but not you))

[After a decent rest and recovery time in the cloud village Tadashi and his escort Tony left one their journey back to the leaf village. Tadashi was mostly recovered but still had healing wounds. From the most part he was just worried about getting back to his home to help in any way he could.]

_________________________   Fenrir ran to the gates to find all of his ANBU members slaughtered. Instant rage swelled up inside him. As he walked around and sniffed he could tell many things about the recent activity there. There was a leaf shinobi who'd been around. He smelled of smoke and ash. Fenrir began to wonder if there was some kind of disturbance in Leaf. He wasn't concentrating on that, however, and instead focused on the smell of the one who'd done the killing. He had smelled him before. He was from Mist, and furthermore, it was almost certainly Zane. Fenrir could tell that he had tried to cover up his scent when he did the killing, but when he returned to the village he forgot to do so, making his scent easier to track. Still, all Fenrir could do was stare at the dozens of dead warriors around him. His glare snapped to the unconscious Rahenno on his shoulder. "This is all your fault!" he snarled. Yajuu's ears tucked behind his head and he sneaked away into Fenrir's vest pocket. He had never seen Fenrir so furious. "If you hadn't been so damn weak to fall to evil, and if you hadn't made the attack on this village, they'd still be alive! Fenrir's eyes darted from one body to the other, his grip on Rahenno steadily getting tighter. "I should just kill you now. That would do them justice! Fenrir's eyes sharpened. "But a pathetic pup like yourself isn't worth staining my claws with, nor will I let you off so easily with just death. An idea flashed through Fenrir's mind and steadily started walking out of the village. "No, I have a much more painful idea in mind." Fenrir glanced around and several guards came to replace the dead ANBU Corps, some of them picking up the dead and transferring them to a nearby hospital. Meanwhile, Fenrir disappeared in a gust of wind with Rahenno's still unconscious body.

Tera, still teary eyed walked towards the village she once called home. She tried to fake a smile but it was a very sad time for her and she just decided to run. Zeramaru mentioned a great master of medical arts named Susumu and she guessed she can learn the sealing jutsus from her.
