dot_com Do they only have four spotlight winners per year? Two every six months, because Atrocious and the other guy have been on there for quite a while. I think it's SUPPOSED to be two a month, but..

Tsukasa Elric Streamjumper I was a little disappointed in A.I Love You. It wasn't horrible, but I don't think Akamatsu had quite hit his stride when making it... Granted, that is to be expected from his first project as a pro, but it still feels a little too much like Ah Megamisama, which jarrs a bit with his style. Have you checked out Remote? It is an excellent title, IMO. I have a tendency of liking medicore series. >.> And I don't recall seeing Remote at the bookshop, but then again I also wasn't looking for it. ^^ I'll have a look-see next time I'm in there. Its a Tokyopop title. It's a really good police/detective drama with some fanservicy and comedic moments, but nothing that will seriously derail the tension.

Streamjumper Its a Tokyopop title. It's a really good police/detective drama with some fanservicy and comedic moments, but nothing that will seriously derail the tension. Well, it's on Ottakars' (my local bookstore) website, so next time I go in there I'll see if they've got volume 1. And if they don't then I'll ask them to order it in. 3nodding

Skizzors Streamjumper Have you checked out Remote? It is an excellent title, IMO. ..and would more much more excellent if the third volume wasn't plastic-wrapped so I could actually read it [and the ones after it].. x__x I bought the last volume of Fake because it was shrinkwrapped. Unfortunately, I don't feel comfortable donating it to the library, so I'm not quite sure what to do with it. sweatdrop

Unfortunately, I don't feel comfortable donating it to the library, so I'm not quite sure what to do with it. sweatdrop I'd say eBay, but you wouldn't get enough for it to be worth the trouble.. you could just leave it somewhere, move a bit away, pretend to read a book, and see who picks it up. ninja

Yeah, like Skizz says, it was supposedly a monthly change. sweatdrop They were never very good about it, but never quite as bad as they've been with the current pair. There have been spotlights that stayed up for less than a month, some for five weeks, some for a couple months... Admins and deadlines don't seem to get along.
