You can get the L4D series on the PC, if that's what you're talking about. Unfortunately, you can't challenge PC to xbox players and vice versa. The upsite to playing it on the PC is all the fun and strange modifications you can do if you want. surprised
Oh, yes, the VG thread, where did that go off to? *leaves to dig around*

GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH
Im so pissed right now. I got my phone confiscated today.
The thing is, I didn't do anything wrong.
I drew a picture on the board that counts down the number of days to exam, but the teacher said that the number of days were wrong. So I looked up the calendar on my phone just to check and then he said that he had to confiscate it because as long as it is on and in their sight they had the right to. Long story short, I argued back, escalated the matter, still got my phone confiscated.
I went the whole day wondering whether my family was calling because since exams are nearing I stay in school til' late at night to ******** school ******** ******** education.

He says he has the right to, but he knows he doesn't have to, especially since what you were doing was completely innocent. What a douchebag.

Yeah! And I did it so we'd stop bickering over the number of days. WTFFF
Although what was confiscated was my crappy spare phone (my main phone is broken... for the 5th time), still my ability to contact people, especially for important things, has been extremely compromised.

You know what, I remember my brother told me about that happening to him as well. Exact same thing, his teacher was asking about some date and when he took out his phone to check she confiscated it. Though I think he got it back after a day the reasoning was still bleh. neutral The people these days.. *facepalm*

Teachers who abuse their authority really tick me off, ugh. Can't you reason with your teacher? Or maybe ask your parents to reason with him? You kind of really need that thing.

I'm gonna ******** around him tomorrow and get him to return it.
Although I dunno whether that's a good idea. I'm one offence away from expulsion and my exams are a week away.
But I REALLY need a handphone. I seldom even call or text. I just answer calls. Most of the time they're important... kinda.

Ah, then it's probably not the best time to piss your teacher off. 'xD You might need to suck it up for now, if only to get your phone back and keep yourself from getting expelled. You can get back at him after everything important's dealt with? 8D

Buttttt I need my phooooonee Normally I have 3 things in my pocket. My wallet, my handheld console of choice and my handphone. And I'm subconsciously checking whether they're there (the feel and all) every few seconds. It's a habit, but at least I don't lose things constantly like my sister. Since one of them is missing I feel extremely insecure. Like I left something behind.
After my exams I'm so tempted to do so many things. Flipping off the principal, shitting on my art teacher's table... chucking molotovs at the general office (I'm quite surprised to find a shop that sells bottles of kerosene near my house)...
Tchhhhhhhh...

Careful, Bapp. You just might end up behind bars. xD
What I meant by sucking up was being nicer to your teacher (for a time, at least), telling him that you "understand what you did wrong" and that you really need your phone back because you need it for emergency calls and everything. If he's a reasonable man, and I REALLY hope he is, he'll give it back. If he still insists on keeping it then it might be time to call for back-up. Teachers can't argue with a parent.
I agree that having a phone with you is very important, and the circumstances behind how your phone got confiscated are pretty shallow, so there's really no reason why your teacher should hold onto it for dear life. Unless he's being a jerk on purpose, which could very well be the case...

lol reminds me of the time that I called my friend when she was sitting right next to me and her phone started to curse like crazy. She was mad at me for awhile, but the teacher laughed too and didn't take the phone, only made her turn it off (he was awesome like that). I miss my 12th grade english class though, it was 40 mins of work then the teacher let us do whatever we wanted, including bring in gameboys and play them for an hour.
