Reeve breathes a heavy sigh, then folds his arms behind his head, waiting for either Aven's return or the next disaster.

The cat sneaks out from the shadows to Reeve's side. Claws bared, he pounces the tender part of Reeve's side.

Reeve yells in suprise, clamping one hand on the back of the cat's neck and the other to his side. "Y'wee bastitch!"

Reeve holds the cat at arms length, wincing as he gets slashed.

At that moment Aven walked through the doorway of the dojo. She turned to face Reeve and the wailing cat.
"Reeve! What are you doing to Tobias?!?"

Aven folded her arms at Reeve and scowled. Meanwhile the cat it still trying to work his way free of Reeve's grasp.
"What did you do to him to make him act this way?"

"He wasn't going to attack your head. He might have pounced on it or just sat on it. Sheesh, don't be so jumpy."

Tobias glares at Reeve and hisses menacingly. Aven sets the cat on her shoulder and offers Reeve a hand to help him up.
"No, I have no idea. Can't be anything like the week I've had. Anyway, you don't want to be seen sitting on the floor when they arrive, do you?"
