"But... But can't either of you do something?" Yugi asked, glancing from Vadin, who was rinsing his mouth out to get rid of the taste of the popcorn, to Khalid, who was leaned against the wall and looking rather blank. "I mean, Khalid, you've got some kind of extra powers, right?" Khalid blinked, and shook his head. Yugi turned towards Vadin, who backed off, shrugging.
"Look, kid, not our problem."
Ryou suddenly found himself in a very cold and dark place. Atem was in front of him, with the Dark Magician behind him, ready to attack. "What... What's going on?" He asked weakly, wondering where Amane, his mother, and his father were. They had just been there... Atem shouted something, but Ryou fell backwards, blacking out.

Kawi stood up angery "well dammint make it your problem!"she walked over to khalid agery "DO SOMTHING DAMMIT!" she yelled at him.

Khalid studied Kawi, and shook his head. "I've got nothing to gain by helping you." He said emotionlessly, turning away.
The shadows began to fade slowly after he said that, and the two reappeared. Bakura was on the ground and Atem was standing, but there wasn't a sense of either winning. Atem quickly went over to Bakura, kneeling down and checking on him. He was out cold, but okay otherwise. He knew it wouldn't be long until Bakura took control, and now he knew he couldn't hurt him because of Ryou. Letting out a growl of frusteration, he slammed his fists down on the coffee table. The surface of the table was glass, which shattered.

Kawi jumped as the table shattered turning twards atem.She quickly walked over "are you alright?"

"Dammit... Ryou's with him again. I can't do anything to him..." Atem muttered, wiping his now-bloody hands against his jeans. He looked up at Vadin. "You have anything we can tie him up with?" He asked, not about to have to search for him again, especially since there was Ryou to think of now.

Vadin left to look for something. "That's what I plan to do. But if Bakura wakes up, something tells me he won't come peacefully." Vadin returned with some zip ties (those plastic things that zip close and just don't open). Atem took them and attached them around Bakura's wrists.

Kawi nodded "ok." she then went off and got a wet washcloth handing it to yugi "you might wanna wash your face..."

"Huh? Why?" Yugi asked, reaching up to feel his face. A little of the purple lipstick rubbed off, and he looked at it in horror. "What on earth...?" He rubbed more at his face, just smearing it.

Ryou woke up thrashing. He was in another kind of room. This place only had a bed, a toilet, and a door with a small window. He got up, his head spinning, and went over to the door. He tried to open it, but found it locked. He paused, concerned, and knocked. Nothing happened. Feeling sick now, his head still spinning, he sat back down on the bed. He must have fallen asleep, because the next thing he knew someone was hugging him tightly. "Huh?"
A girl with long, sleek brown hair looked at him. Her eyes were shimmering with tears. "Oh, Ryou, I heard what happened not too long ago! I'm sorry about all the rude answering machine messages, but if I knew I never would have said anything like that!" She sniffled wiping her red-rimmed eyes on the back of her hand. "They're awful people to have locked you up here, luv! I had to bribe the people to visit you. How dare they say you're unstable!" She abruptly embraced him tightly again, and then kissed him.
Ryou backed away, wide-eyed. "You're not-- I don't know who you are-- Where's Kira?!" This was the most pressing matter at the moment for him. He needed to make sure she was okay after the Shadow Realm.
"Kira?" The girl spat, looking angry suddenly. "Who the hell is that? Ryou-- you've been cheating on me, haven't you! The doctor said all you did was talk about Kira and other nonsense. I should have believed him!" She bit her bottom lip, instantly looking guilty. "Oh, I'm so sorry! I shouldn't be like that. That girl, Kira, was a part of your made-up world, right? Yes, your mum said that." She paused, then took a breath. "You... you still remember me, right Ryou?"
Ryou shook his head. He had honestly never seen this girl before. She burst into a fresh wave of tears, and he quickly tried to comfort her. "Look, I'm sorry, but I really don't remember much of anything. My family, my home, nothing. Please, try to understand..." He trailed off as another wave of dizziness took over, forcing him to sit down on the bed again. The girl looked concerned, and asked some question, but he couldn't hear it.

Atem was bent over the pale-haired boy, trying to awaken him. Hopefully it would be Ryou again and they could get him swiftly to the mansion. He glanced up as Yugi rubbed at his face with his palm. "Yeah, Vadin must've put makeup on you. And try to use the washcloth Kawi just got, not your hand." He suggested, and quickly looked back to the boy when Ryou suddenly gasped sharply, his eyes flashing open. He seemed panicked, his eyes wide. He struggled viciously, the plastic cutting into his skin, but not enough to make him bleed. "Ryou! Ryou, calm down. Look, everything is okay." He tried to say. He had tried to calm Ryou before, in the Shadow Realm, when Bakura had suddenly switched control when the Dark Magician was about to attack. Ryou had reacted strongly to being in the Shadow Realm, and hadn't seemed to hear anything, blacking out shortly after gaining control.
Ryou wasn't with the mysterious girl anymore. He was suddenly on the ground, with someone peering at him closely. He gasped and tried to back away, but found his hands bound together. He heard his name and paused, just enough to get a good look at the person. "A-atem?" He asked, not really sure if that was who it was.
Atem was glad that Ryou finally responded, but didn't like the tone of the boy's voice. It sounded more as though he was taking a wild guess at his name. "Yes, Ryou, that's right. Now I know you'd like to be out of those ties, but that might be just what Bakura wants. We don't want him slipping away again..." The pharaoh was suddenly cut off as Ryou screamed.
"NO!" Ryou shook his head furiously. "No Bakura. He doesn't exist! They told me so. They told me that he's not there. He's not. You... you're trying to trick me! You want to take me away from her again. I told her I wouldn't leave!" He was speaking with a hysterical note in his voice, and breathing heavily. His head spun again, and he had to pause to try and clear it.

[Whoo @_@ Maybe I'm getting a little carried away with this Ryou thing. I'm sorry to suddenly have sprung this up out of nowhere, but I acted on an impulse. I'll try to shorten posts later on or something. >_> Must... get... sleep...]

Kawi walked over to ryou placing a hand on his shoulder "Calm down Ryou.Were going to take you back to the masion then you can be with kira ok?" she said calmly.
