She winced as he finished the sentence and grabbed onto Reeve tighter, not letting go at all, almost beginning to shake.....she didn't like the sould of this conversation and wanted to stay very close to Reeve sensei right now....

"Will you not look at my student in such an insidious manner when speaking of experiments?" Reeve asks politely, yet firmly. "Like our beloved Academy isn't a big freaktank already..." The second sentance is, of course, said with all fondness. "Tell me where to start."

Insidious? I'm just gathering information.

Well, first I'd need to test my barrier under a great amount of pressure to see how my chakra reacts.

Melony held onto Reeve tight and then hugged him, burring her head in his oufit, a bit nervous. She slowly looked back at Neko, still holding onto Reeve, afrai to let go of him now that he had brought that back up and being Reeve seemed to be clueless.....

Reeve chuckles, scratching the back of his head.
"She's like a kitten...hey, got a chicken strip?"
Collecting himself, he strokes his chin as he reflects on Neko's explanation.
"So, I'm to wail on your barrier with all I've got, or just force on it with chakra?"

Melony looked up at him not to happy with that comment and hugged him , but ran off into the dojo and began reading on the couch, where many people would see her, and hoping this would work and she began to relax, feeling a bit better.....

Reeve nods and strolls out to the courtyard, away from the porch. "I'm ready when you are, but let's not make the dojo a casualty, right?"

-=Neko spoke assuredly. His chakra could be easily felt, but he didn't seem to have it concentrated anywhere, and he didn't seem to be using it for any jutsu=-

Reeve starts with pretty standard fare- a lightning bolt aimed for Nek's chest. However, he directs it from himself instead of his usual 'mortar-bombardment' lightning strike. It's more of a ray, coming from his left palm. He looks relaxed, save for a narrowing of his eyes which hints at some exertion.

-=The bolt curves around Neko, a blue haze forming between the attack and Neko as it came within a few feet of hitting him. He didn't seem bothered at all, he just kind of chuckled=-

Reeve scoffs in mild annoyance at Neko's cocky attitude in the last few moments. He gives a sound of slight exertion, and a second bolt, thicker, larger, hotter, fires at Neko. Meanwhle, the grass and leaves around Reeve have hardened and sharpened, and they orbit him a few times before firing of in Nek's direction, too.

-=Neko leans his head forward a bit, closing his eyes as the attacks bounce off of the barrier. He couldn't attack well from here, anyway, so he just focused on his defense, paying close attention to how his chakra acted=-

Reeve starts adding continual air-based lightning strikes to his bombardment, although they're really only a distraction. Hitherto unused, his left hand balls into a tight fist as he summons up all his chakra, fueling the flames..er...lightning.

-=Neko releases another seal, his chakra spiking up once more. The attacks seemed to have little effect, though they did spread his focus out a bit more, making the barrier weaker overall=-
