Khalid yawned, then opened the door as the two approached. "Something you need?" He asked in a bored tone.

Atem hadn't said anything yet, and Khalid pointed towards the couch. "Just came in here and started to sleep, the lazy b*****d. You want to kill him or anything, do it elsewhere. Don't want blood all over the place." He looked thoughtful for a moment. "Wait, you're both here. Oh, you wanted Yugi, right? He was out cold, so Vadin wanted to shave his head. I managed to convince him only to put make-up on him and paint his toenails. He got bored and tried to cook. If you smell anything, it was probably the cheese." Atem blinked, but entered the hotel room.

Ryou smiled, hugging the woman as she approached the bed. "Mum." he said, overjoyed. He barely noticed that he was crying, and so was his mother. The broke apart, and she smoothed down his hair. "I missed you..."
"Missed me? It's only been about a week." His mother hugged him again. "But we were all so worried about you! Your father is on his way over right now. I called him to tell him you were awake." Noticing the confused expression on her son's face, she explained. "You were in a small car accident, honey. Slight head damage, and you were in a coma for about a week. Don't you remember?"
Ryou didn't understand. "Car accident? But I was in the park..." He suddenly jolted, looking alarmed. "Wait a second, Kira! Where is she? Is she okay?" He struggled slightly as his mother tried to hold him still. "Bakura... He had taken us to the shadow realm, and I knew she wouldn't make it, but--"
"Shhh..." His mother silenced him, covering his mouth with one of her hands. She looked concerned. "Now, tell me again what's going on?" Ryou sighed, then took a deep breath, and began to explain. He told her about Millennium Items, yamis, Kira, and everything that had been going on. The more he spoke the more and more concerned his mother looked, her brow furrowing. "There is a... spirit inside of your head talking to you?" She asked, worried. It was very obvious she didn't believe him.

Kawi quickly hurried in to yugi's side.Kneeling beside him she gently pinched his cheaks to try and wake him up.

Yugi opened his eyes, one lined with heavy black eyeliner and the other bare. It was as though Vadin had drawn an invisable line down Yugi's face, doing only half of him. He had on purple lipstick, again, onle half of his lips, and dark pink blush. "Huh... Kawi?" He asked groggily.
Atem had gone over to the couch, where Vadin had woken Bakura up only moments earlier with his awful food. The two glared at one another, and almost instantly shadows seemed to form out of nowhere, swallowing the two up.
Ryou was silent, knowing how it must have sounded. "No, but..." He glanced down at himself, and noticed that he seemed younger. Prehaps still in high school? "What about Kira? Where is she?" He insisted to see her.
His mother shook his head sadly. "I'm sorry, honey, but I don't know anyone named Kira. I don't think you do, either. And besides, with what you told me... Are you sure you weren't dreaming?"

"Oh yugi!" he huged yugi tightly and started crying "I was so worried!!"

Vadin seemed to appear out of nowhere. "Hey, want some popcorn?" He asked, shaking a bowl of black chunks of something or other. "It should be a show to watch. Atem doesn't stand a chance against Bakura in the shadow realm. He's far outnumbered as Millennium Items go, and Bakura's home in the shadows. Plus Bakura's got extra leverage if things go sour." He laughed slightly and tapped his temple, signaling something.
Ryou had to watch with tears in his eyes as his father arrived, and his mother had to stop him outside of the door and explain something in a whispered tone. The two then looked at him oddly, and then vanished from the doorway. They thought he was crazy. Was he? Blinking back the tears, he noticed a little girl entering the room. "Amane?" He asked, his eyes widening. The girl beamed and hopped up on the hospital bed.
Amane put her hands on her hips and spoke to her brother in mock-lecturing tones. "Mummy and Daddy were worried sick. Don't do that again, you understand? I don't want you to leave." She beamed a toothy grin, which Ryou couldn't help but return.

Vadin looked down at the bowl and frowned. "Well, it had been when I put it in the microwave. Sixteen minutes was enough, right?"
"What do you mean?" Yugi asked, concerned about his yami. "Leverage?"
"Yeah." Vadin grabbed one of the black things and popped it into his mouth, chewing painfully. "Ryou's stuck in there, y'know?"
Ryou shook his head, closing his eyes. "Of course, Amane. I'd never leave you again." He said, hugging his sister tightly.

"But what?" Vadin spat out the 'popcorn'. "Ugh, maybe you were right." He got up to dump it out.

Vadin glanced around and shrugged. "You see anybody with a Millennium Item? Once a shadow game starts like that, only people with other items can really go in. Bakura's got five, Atem's got one. Where's the last?"

"Then we just wait for Bakura to destroy Atem, take the puzzle, and then go after Kira to kill her." Vadin dumped the contents of the bowl into the trash, making a face.
A doctor came in to see Ryou, asking him questions about what he remembered. He knew absolutly nothing about any accident. He couldn't recall life at all, besides what he had told his mother. He knew his mother and sister from this 'other' life. "But I'm not crazy!" He insisted as the doctor wrote something down. He looked around, but could tell by the looks on their faces that they didn't believe him.
