Vaati swallowed the rest of the herb and stuck his tongue out in disgust. "Nothing to apologize for, I got some form of painkillers." He shot a glance at Kaze, but turned his head away from him.
Alyssa found the well turned the handle to send the bucket downward. Now the bucket was going to be heavy. Water weighed more than the strawberries did.

(Yeah, dogs do eat grass... Either that or my dogs are weird... Which is entirely true. ^_^)

'I guess Zathier thought it would be heavy too.' Alyssa thought as she watched bring the bucket back up. She didn't mind, at least she didn't have the carry the stupid bucket.
"I can't move, remember?" Vaati hissed again, then turned to Kaze. "Could you at least get some water? I need to wash this taste out of my mouth." He hissed at Kaze.

Zathier finished turning the crank and pulled the bucket to the side. "Do we have anything to put the water in or should we just carry the bucket with us?" He asked.
Kaze hid a chuckle. "Can't even stand the taste of painkillers eh?" He thought and grinned, thinking about how Vaati would do in the training.

"We have this bowl. Do you think it'll be enough?" Alyssa asked as she bent down to pick it up again.
"Are you going to get it or no? You said you would get what I needed..." Vaati hissed again.

"Alright, alright. I'll be back." Kaze chuckled again and left the room to go down to the well where Alyssa and Zathier were. "Hey, mind if I take a cup of that water off your hands? Vaati needs some to take the taste out of painkillers out of his mouth." He explained.
"Oh, sure Kaze." Zathier said and pour a small amount of water into the cup and the rest of it into the bowl. "Alright, we're making a strawberry cake for Vaati. Don't tell him though." Zathier explained to Kaze.
"I see. Well, since he loves strawberries. Then if he likes cake, he'll love your little surprise." Kaze said and walked off back to Vaati with the water.

Josline heard the timer go off as she opened the oven and pulled out the cake base. It wasn't burnt as she smiled softly to herself. "This is actually isn't the first time I've made a cake or any type of pastry, my grandmother taught me." She explained, placing it on the table as they started to spread the whipping cream over it.
Opal headed out the stairs seeing Alyssa and Zathier.
"Perfect, can you wash a few of those and pull the top off?" Josline asked looking over at the two of them.

Alyssa grabbed a few strawberries and scrubbed the dirt off them before she grabbed a knife and cut the top off it. It was more efficient then just pulling the tops off, she just needed to be careful and not cut herself. She had a feeling that if something happened, Josline wouldn't trust her with another knife.

Zathier also grabbed some strawberries and washed them off. "How many strawberries do you need?" He asked before he cut too many of them.

Josline looked nervously at Alyssa. "It's okay, I think this is enough. We're just putting them on the top." She said taking them after they had been washed and tops have been cut off.

Zathier put his knife down and put all of the cut strawberries in a seperate bowl. "Here!" He said and handed the bowl to Josline.
