Exactly! And that's where the money comes from. Which makes them happy and me disgustingly ill. >.>
But if you buy an item once, technically the item in question is yours, and therefore your property, even if you didn't make it. So you should be able to go back and watch it again and again, or if it's a book, read it again and again. It's the same as buying a DVD set. Once it's in your hands, it's yours, no one else's.

Yep, and the fact they couldn't stop that pissed them off. I mean, HOW DARE WE, the consumer, knowingly go out and buy a tape/DVD of our favorite show/movie, where we'd be able to watch over and over forever with out ever having to pay for it ever again or have to sit through commercials and wait!
Looking at it from a bussiness and thus a money making point of view what we're doing is selfish. BUT, since I'm the one actually having to pay instead of the one being paid, I said let me enjoy my show/movie in peace and I'll line your pockets when you produce more seasons or stuff to buy.
Anyways. The only part of it all I didn't like was the prospect of the elimination of all physical copies. If they could stop being dumbass with sticks up their asses they could probably figure out a way to turn a profit with having everything online, but then what about us collectors? No I don't sit down and watch all the DVDs or read all the manga I bought all the time, but I enjoy the ability to do just that if I choose to. I don't want to have to wait for my show to come on online.
It's rather weird, I caught the last half of that panel and yet I wished I had a notebook and something to write with for it. It was very much like a class I would love to take haha.

Glad to hear that except the brain fried part.
I watched Hetalia today. I enjoyed it but still trying to figure out if I liked it.

Haha yeah. Earlier I was just so bleeergh from class and then all hyped-up cuz I was talking to some friends and couldn't concentrate all that well. XD

Well I like the characters and the fact that the history behind it is very sound. I even enjoy the fact that , in the english dub at least, they're using whatever sterotypes they can get away with. Japan's Engrish is just too funny.
Only down side was the fact most episodes where 5 minutes total, including ending theam. Then there's the "current" story line and then the "chibitalia" history lesson which after a while get's messy when they go from one to another.
I also feel like "America cleans out his storage room" would have been better if they didn't have advertising for it for four episodes , which took up time that could have been used for other scenes, and then haveing to wait through another episode to conclude it when it was barely half way done, and THEN having to sit through the first minute that I had already seen many times thanks to the "previews" and "trailers" they put into the show.
Other then that it was all good.

Haha yeah I get you there. Chibitalia is more for the rabid fangirls, but it's still pretty cute.
The history part and the stereotypes are what got me. I've only seen up to episode 46 in Japanese, but like I said before, I'm saving up for the English dubbed DVD set.
Actually, with regard to the English-dubbed version, the line "Go back to giving us free chick statues!" got me...XD

I only have season one so I only got to see to episode 26.
And I know everybody has their favorites but I want to see more Germany, America, and England haha.
I have respect for Germany, England is a hoot, espeically when he's trying to do those dark magic things. And I think America is to be expected. He doesn't act the brightest and can be a bit of an a**, but he means well.

Yup! Poland's my favorite, but he doesn't appear for a while. ^^;;
The reason he's my favorite is because I took a personality quiz and found out I'm exactly like him, and I'm actually over 85% Polish. I also happen to look like him too. Only differences are eye color and gender. XD
America and England are awesome. Just in general. Did you see the campfire scene? That one made me laugh for hours!

I haven't taken any Hetalia quizes so I don't know who I'm more like.
Of course those kind of quizes have caused me to over think just HOW I got the characters ever since I took one of one of my favorite webcomics.

@Dart: Hah I get what you mean. I can't remember when I took that quiz exactly. They're really fun though.
