"Wha- oh" he grabs two glasses and set them on the table. he then opens the wine and pours some for both of them. setting the bottle with the remainder of the wine on the table he hands her a glass and sits at the oppsite end form her.

She smiled watching everyone talk but not saying a word, she enjoyed watching everyone else, listening the Mercy and Atta speak was nice"Atta is right you have gone from No children to a child and a granddaughter, though neather are by true blood but Atta is my adopted daughter and Annie is her's." She smiled, and watched the man with the bottle of wine and looked at it realizing it wasn't from her private stash that never got touched by anyone concidering it was under lock and key sense she came to the mansion."Shadow if that is the oldest you have had I will need to bring out some from my private collection one day you would be suprised at how a two hundredish year old bottle of wine tastes." She smiled, her eyes ice blue now and her fangs showing slightly over her lips leaving an air of mystery and seduction around her.

taking a sip form the glass he smiled. Then looking over to the lady that had just spokened to him he says, "I would lked that." he takes another sip and closes his eyes to think.

*Her eyes darted a little from the man to Atta. She could see a slight connection but decided it was better unspoke. Wrinkling her nose she shook her head at Lady Death.* "Gradmother. . . . . . . . " *She stuck out her tongue.* "Bleh. . . . that sounds so old. . . " *Her voice was sweet and whiny as she reached up and gripped her hair firmly kissing her sweetly before jumping down and walking to Shadow.* "I definently don't act like a grandmother." *She walked up and smiled at Atta. In a very formal yet intimate in some vampire cultures she reached up and took a sip of her wine. She hoped she wouldn't need the permission but only took a little before standing back and grinning.* "Hmmmmm. . . . taste good." *She announced with prominence.*

She smiled alittle at Shadow"Good one day we will sit down for a good glass of wine." She smiled at Mercy "I am the old one here, and when you think of it by human standards you are old my Dear. I do not act like a grandmother either, I have lived long enough I could though...most would proably see that more fitting for me."

She smiled alittle and moved aways from her and over to the window, she moved as if her feet never hit the ground but her hair swayed in time with her walk "To be anything but me is a crime, I lived long enough hiding who and what I am."

"We all live in shadows, Be it to hide form the Humans of today, Or memories of the past. As for I, I live in the SHadows of my past and the hell i will always be running form. However i didn't run here for salvation but rather to be forgiven for my crimes i have commited." Shadow opens his eyes slowly, though his body was young his eyes held wisdom of the eldest of their kind, wisdom that was clearly more than his time on earth, for those who dared to look.

She looked at him"Now adays living in the shadows is a thing of the past its like how human children today look at their parents childhood and teenage years and think of how barbaric and outdated it is. Todays vampires live in the light while those of us who are older lived in shadows just to stay alive a few hundred years, today all a vampire needs is a set of fangs and you can have anything you want. God when I was as young as most of the people here you need to be clever, you needed to know how to hide amoung humans and keep your power and fangs hidden and bit when you could and keep them alive and bit in a place no one would see to stay alive." She scoffs "Vampires now would never have survived." She looked at Shadow"We can not forgive your crimes we have no council here, the vampire council has exiled me thus leaveing those here with only myself and the other higher ups as council to them, and anyway here the past is the past I do not care what you have done, if I did I would not have allowed half the people here to enter and stay.Hell if that mattered the past leader the first friend I had in centires would have never allowed me here, my hands are stained beyond salvation or even forgiveness."

Shadow looks into the lady's eyes and said, "To the past, may it not be forgotten; To the future, May It live unto the fullness." He drinks the rest of the glass and sets the empty glass on the table.

Annie dances softly into the room. "Grandmother!!!" She squeals and runs up to her and gives her a big hug. "Omiggg!!! I've missed you SO much!" She wasn't her formal self. She was now a high school wild student. She smiled brightly, showing fang as she looked around the room to see any familiar faces. "Mr. Shadowsss!!!" She giggled excitedly. "Oh wowie! Didn't know you would be hereee!" Her smile softened but she still showed her fang a little.

She smiled at him and nodded to the toast"I would much rather forget my past though yes it made me who I am, I would still much rather forget it. And to my future, may the hell of it not be close to the hells I have endured." She smiled and hugs Annie back"I have missed you too darling." She smiled"Yes Shadow and I have been talking..." She straightens abit from her place at the window and chuckles to herself "I have been rude, I forget my manners for I have not introduced myself have I?" She laughs more its rich,intoxicating and gives a very sexual undertone, She bows slightly only a small one that a noble would give to a lower one "I am Death, also known as Lady Death, Lady and by my true name Lavender or Lav which ever you prefer to call me by I will answer and as many of the youngers here call me an ancient because of my age."

Shadow arched his eye brows a bit and replyed, "It is rude to ask a Lady of her age, indeed you seem older than most ive met as of late. I would guese near or slightly older than 1000 human years." Lookin to Annie he says, "Annie, how are you? This is a pleasant surprise."

She smiled alittle and laughs this time using the back of her hand to cover her mouth greatly reducing the amout of energy and power that went out with it causing it only to be very rich "Your far off Shadow,add anouther five thousand ish years and you would be closer."
