I had to look up a salon today. Robert Cromean at Arc in Mandalay Place. $495 to get your hair cut by Mr. Cromean himself. Hello. x_x People are crazy.
Whatcha goin' to do with your hair, Ashley? ^^ Anything drastic or fun? Or just a trim?

I'm not saying I personally wouldn't mind having a heated discussion about passion vs. serenity with Qui-Gon Jinn...but in general, the Jedi just seem...asexual. They're a monk-like order, they're called knights, Lucas based them on the samurai class, their code just screams "self control and denial."
And then there's the Master/Padawan dynamic itself. A Master is more like a parent/teacher than potential bedmate I would think. I mean this person's walked you through puberty, disciplined you up one wall and down the other, fed and protected and molded you for half your life. After all of that you'd be unnatural not to love, but somehow it seems it wouldn't lead to that sort of love. Especially if all those years of teaching kept centering around "There is no passion" and all that "six degrees to the Dark Side" stuff.

*nods* There are some that love that. I've just always associated the jedi with putting their own personal wants and desires secondary to what is best for humanity.
Jedi=/=Pervy.
The two just don't mesh.

Pervers just need to leave certain things alone, such as the Jedi Order, Middle Earth, and the Knights Templar. Oh, and RuroKen. I've never read a manga more densely populated with practically asexual characters, and I have read plenty. And yet people slash their way through it six ways from Sunday. *headdesk*

I would have to be under extreme duress before I called Hajime Saitou or Gimli son of Gloin "pretty." TT
Ran across a site (or blog?) some years back where a group of people would sit down and ream the everloving pie out of bad fanfiction. *laugh* I mean this stuff hurt, it was so bad. Not all of it was badly written, as even the reviewers would admit, but concepts or characterizations or just SOMETHING would send the fic straight to hell. The blogs were without exception amusing to read. *hee*

Saitou and Aoshi are just scary-awesome. <3 Aoshi got a serious sexiness upgrade in the final few volumes. *purr*
Have you ever wondered if Kenshin would have lost like...nearly all his fights if he'd just been unable to speak? It seems like his greatest advantage is his ability to play amateur psychologist rather than his swordskills. *snicker*

rofl I think most heros like to play amateur psychologist. Personally, I'd enjoy watching them kick the living crap out of their opponent as opposed to playing psychologist.
