It was not a good first 10 minutes of the day. What was the sticker of? surprised Noo, those little things, I can't get the word! Its a type of weed. They aren't thorns, but they're little pointy thingies that have hooks on the end of them, and when it step on them, they stick in your foot, and it hurts really badly to pull them out sometimes, especially when they are on the balls of your feet. (That also makes walking weird) Oh, I thought it was like a kid's sticker. I actually don't know what kind of plant you're talking about. I don't think I've ever heard of that before. confused I still can't come up with the word. Its not a stick-tight, because those don't hurt. Huzzah! A quick call to the madre revealed the term "sand spurs"!

And they were 2 kinds of plants -- thistle weeds (which are actually spikey leaves) and the prickers are actually seeds for a specific kind of grassy weed.
