Fallout: Fallout IS MY s**t I have New vegas on my labtop and 3 on my 360, I can play that game for hours! highly recomend
Inactivity: I am not going to school or work until next tuesday due to mandi's cerclage surgery that she had this morning. Poor thing is still recovering but what else can ya so when they staple up your cervix?

@ Lioness: Your RP idea vaguely reminds me of Shadowrunner for some reason. Just replace 'cybernetics' with 'steamwork'.
Other: I got some shapewear in the mail a few days ago. I got super excited and wore them almost through the whole school day.... then lightheaded-ness and nausea got me and I asked to be sent home. Morals of the story: gradually get used to anything that compresses your torso before wearing it for hours on end, eating while compressed is also a bad idea, and no eating biscuts and gravy ever. Especially if it came from the school cafeteria.
At least I got to finish a book for English. I read Orwell's 1984 today; it was great. Tomorrow I'm re-reading Animal Farm and then looking at literary criticism.

Woo~! Got all moved in today! biggrin
I'm kind of digging my room now that I have everything all set up and situated, it looked like it was going to be ridiculously small and unreasonable at first.
Got some nice homey touches added in but loading up the wall my bed is up against with tons of decoration. I have a Kingdom Hearts wallscroll that will be going on the wall at the head of my bed, but I forgot it at my parents house. I got all my clothes to fit nicely into the closet [excluding cosplays which I haven't brought down yet.] and I filled my storage units to make everything nice and organized.
There are a few things I'm irritated about. First, I was told that everyone in my apartment would be a new resident for student housing, and that all 4 rooms would be moving in together this week. Instead, they just filled me into a room where someone just graduated, so all 3 of the other rooms are occupied and the apartment has been lived in for several months. I still feel really awkward because they've all had time to adjust to each other and now myself and my room mate just kind of popped in and have no idea what we're doing.
Also, because the place has been lived in, and it's only men living in the apartment [lazy art students no less] the place is a disaster. The kitchen is piled high with dirty dishes and the dishwasher was hanging open and loaded full of what I could only imagine was more filth. I'm not one to complain about messes, but I might just have to take a day this week and get this s**t together.
The upside to a lived in place is that they already have food and cooking ware, and should have a grocery schedule in place, which I'll have to ask about later.
All in all today was a pretty good experience. Oh, and did I mention I'm typing this from my new laptop? biggrin His name is Victor, because he's blue metal and cool... just like Mr. Freeze from Batman!! [whose real name is Victor Fries]
Anyway, that'll be all for this update, it's been a long day and I have more to do tomorrow.

Thank you all for the wishes. Today marks a week, and it's rough... but I'm pushing through it all. School started Wednesday. Weird.

@ Koji: Congrats on the successful move. I'm sure you will be fine once everything's cleaned up a bit.

@Waffle: Yeah... a couple of my friends use chest binding for cosplays and have mentioned it can be more constricting that a corset. I hope future experiences with it are better.
@Roommate: He was on his girlfriend until 12am last night. Almost entirely literally. She was there from about 6 til 11:30, and they were making out/cuddling/'playing' with each other the entire time. It was really awkward unpacking and decorating while hearing them whispering to each other on his bed... >.>;; I gave him a free pass for the night considering he's gonna have to see my Yaoi slash prints posted on my wall everyday... but I'm gonna have to bring it up with him if he keeps it up.

Sorry for disappearing, I had to focus on a few academic things. Now I'm free.
@ Skotti; that sounds like a very interesting. I might want to join once I can stop running around to handle university stuff.
Koji, glad to hear you are all settled in. Hopefully, the Roommate problem won't last.

@ Koji: *hugs*...>.< *relates to the two cuddlebugs* If you just mention it to him and if he's a good guy, they'll be more discrete. Gosh, couples are oblivious unless told up front that they are being too intimate in public. x) But she really did stay too long in that place.
