(OOC: stare Miki got his foot smashed into the food machine, flung into the wall by Jack crashing into him, and then got Jack's foot in his face . . . eek he's also not been watching the others. >_>)

Feeling utterly miserable and sorry for himself at exploding like that on a fellow student- as well as blubbering like a baby- Miki sighed and slowly began to let go of his violin case. He was acting quite stupid about all of this. Turning to look back at the other boy he was surprised to see such a crowd gathered on his behalf when they had no idea who he was. Miki's heart warmed. Then he glanced down, ashamed.

It should be me confronting him . . . not Keila and those others doing it for me.

Suddenly, a loud crack broke into Miki's thoughts and drew his attention back to the crowd: the boy had smashed his banjo onto Keila's head. Furious, Miki leapt out of his seat with his black leather case ready and waiting in his hands to repay the boy the favour of having a musical instrument whacked against his head.

Unfortunately he didn't make it over in time to do anything but watch as the boy abruptly left. Taking only a few moments to glare at the retreating back of his tormentor, Miki then lowered his violin case to the floor and let it drop gently to the floor before turning to Keila. She looked as miserable as he felt, clutching her head in pain and crying freely. Without giving it any second thoughts Miki wrapped his arms around her in a comforting hug.

She deserved nothing less for being such a good friend.

"There isn't really anything to say really," stretching she burped, covering her mouth as her face burned red. Mumbling excuse me she leaned against the wall, her arm starting to tingle within a few minutes but ignoring it as it went numb. "I think it's you who should tell me more about yourself, all I've caught is your name and your element of choice," she said

Nori raises an eyebrow as she asks for more info about him. "About me? There isn't much to say about my life...I have no tragic background, no cool stories, no nothing...I was just a normal kid, with not so normal powers...Nothing more. Normal school was never fun, all the kids either stayed far away or picked on me, I was never very good at school because teachers passed me just to get me out of their classes...by middle school I had to go and learn things myself...Now I am here, where I can be appreciated for what gifts I have and feel...well...almost normal..." Nori sighs and turns his head, looking out the window at the students milling about in the courtyard. "That pretty much sums it up..."

Pyro laughed. "Well you've pretty much summed up the opposite of me... you want something to drink? I'm gonna go get another juice, after all that eating I'm kinda thirsty," she said, standing up and walking up to the line and grabbing two more juices. Walking back she handed him one before stretching out in the booth. Taking out her lighter she flicked it open, the small flame jumping around until she snapped her fingers, making it leap to her hand. Closing it she manipulated it so it curled around her hand like a snake

Pyro looked up from her amusement, smiling faintly. "You said people were repelled from you, they were drawn to me because of my main ability... Enhancing other's abilities. If someone needed help studying they force me to stufy witht hem and they could focus better. If they had trouble in gym they'd make me run with them and they'd speed up and have better endurance... I don't have friends, I don't trust people. I can't, I was never taught to trust. All I learned from anyone was to help people no matter what the price you could say," sighing she saw the small flame snake had grown and engulfed her entire hand. Squeezing her hand into a fist she flexed it open returning it to the size it had been

Smiling she picked it up, looking at the fiery wreath around her hand. Tossing it into the air she whistled at it strangely, the thing forming a strange flower and falling to the table. "Don't worry it won't burn you," she said, smiling. Suddenly her cell phone went off, the faint ringing making her jump. Pulling it out slowly she looked at the number that came up on the caller ID, a look of sad submition crossing her face as she answered and spoke quietly for a minute before hanging up and stuffing it back into her pocket. Looking up again she mumbled as she spoke. "Just my parents... calling to... check on me," she said slowly.
