Storm shrugged, and closed her eyes, hiding as it were from Allen.
"So what?"
She gave herself a brownie point for not sounding too sulky.

((Umm, Izzy? Death Wind takes place on the way to the first war with Michael, before Sunny came. That's why... well, there's a lot of things...))

Allen: If he knew I slept with you, he'd flip out on me.

Storm opened her eyes again, looking at Allen. She sat up again, and cupped his cheek with her hand, stroking it softly.
"I won't let him hurt you. A promise, that is."
The drow kissed Allen's lips, almost tenderly.

Allen kissed her back, smiling against her lips.
Allen: You know, Storm, a lesser man would believe that.

Storm smiled.
"You know, Allen, I never said I wouldn't hurt you."
The drow's mirth seemingly died on her lips.
"But I mean it, about Kibo. I've grown unnaturally fond of you, it seems. And I can't have a jealous godling interfering with that."

"'Deceiving voice'"
Storm smiled and laid back into the soft bed again.
"I guess you'll just have to toss the dice?"

Allen: I was always good at Liar's Dice...
He laid down beside Storm, finally returning her tender kiss.

Storm smirked.
"Especially when the dice are loaded, hrm?"
* * *
She gave a light groan, and shifted ever so slightly away from the beam of harsh morning sunlight, arching into the cabin. Slowly it occurred to Storm she wasn't lying on her pillow. Or at least a conventional one. She snuggled farther back into the warm crook of Allen's arm, enjoying the smooth skin. It was funny, really. Storm'd always enjoyed the finer things in life, but had never really been sentimental about any of them, or her toys. Well, except for one. But he was a different story entirely.

Allen sighed lightly, wanting to roll out of the beam of sunlight that was now pounding directly on his eyelids, but not daring to pull his arm out from under Storm's head.

Storm closed her eyes tightly, rolling out of the warm bed blindly.
"Allen, you seem a fairly intelligent c**k. Why do I even have a bloody window?"
She opened her eyes again and let them adjust to the harsh sunlight. Storm found her trousers tossed carelessly in one corner, and pulled them back on.

Allen: So you can stare out at your slaves and make sure their doing their job properly?
Allen pulled his slacks off the bedpost, and slipped back into them.

Storm rolled her eyes.
"Don't need it for that; I can feel them."
She lightly touched her heart, almost fondly. Storm pulled her fancy silken shirt over her head, and reached up to pull her hair free of the collar.
