Soul frowned, "How about just rolling to a stop? Our destination keeps going Margy... Slowing down would be a bad idea, remember?" He said, trying to keep the hamster from doing injury to him and her. No matter how much he braced himself, it was still a metal cage which held him. And that wasn't safe in the slightest. "We need to keep moving, just keep riding and drag your foot if we need to turn." He directed.

"Soul-kun smart." Margy said as she looked over towards her hedgehog friend who was riding in the cart. "Margy was just gonna stomp her foot on the ground and come to a sudden stop--but Margy like Soul-kun's plan better." she stated before glancing down at fast moving ground beneath her. Staring at it for a bit longer, the crazy hamster quickly looked up towards the end of the hill--which was coming up fast--and attempted to calculate when would be the best time to stop...before blinking.
"Oh wait...Margy's not good at calculating stuff like that." she stated simply. "Oh well--here we gooo!!" she squealed out, before grabbing onto the handle of the cart and beginning to lean to the side--causing the cart to begin to tilt along with her. Stepping off of the cart, the hamster began to drag her foot--allowing them to slow down just enough to swerve around the corner, before kicking off the ground and picking up speed once again...quickly regaining any speed that they may have lost.
"Vooom vooom!!" Margy grinned as she made car like sounds, which could possible mean that she was imagining them in the least, when it came to Margy probably wasn't all that surprising.

Soul sighed. "Not so much smart as quick on my feet. Even when I'm in a cart going at literal breakneck speeds." He muttered the last part to himself, and it was barely audible over the rattling of the cart. Soul looked up and continued to direct Margy with simple hand motions. He made a few remarks in his head on how much more difficult this would of been if Stephanie was around, in an attempt to make him feel better about the situation. Holding unto her key in his hand, he took a moment to be happy about the fact that at least it stayed - seeing how disaster prone Margy was, he would need it.

"Sharp turn!!" Margy squealed as she went around another corner--this time hitting it at full speed and causing the cart to screech as it threatened to topple over--taking them with it.
"Go down!" Margy ordered as she leaned the opposite way the cart was moving, causing it to reset itself with a bit of a rattle, probably shaking up poor Soul.
"How much further do we have to go?" she asked, leaning against the handle to the cart as she started into the basket where Soul sat. "Huh Soul-kun? huh?" she questioned before glancing up and blinking.
"......" the usually noisy hamster stared out silently, apparently something ahead had caught her attention. Staying silent for a bit long, Margy blinked as she continued to stare whatever her attention had fallen upon--as if she was attempting to figure out what it was...until she finally realized what it was.
"POTHOLE!!" Margy called out loudly, unfortunately by the type she had mentioned, it was a bit to late to completely avoid it and cart hit the hole in the ground with a rough jolt as one of it's back wheels sunk and then bounced out of the hole, nearly bouncing the hamster off of the cart.
"Weee! That was fun!" Margy squealed, after giving her head a quick shake--trying to shake off the dizziness created by the sudden jolt.

Soul slammed his legs down when the cart was threatening to tip, causing it to equal out more easily. As he fought for his life on the cart, he called back to Margy. "Not far now, Margy." He looked about and was paying attention to the ways instead of the roads. As soon as Margy hit the Pothole, Soul was catapulted out of the cart and into the air. Thinking back, it was a familiar feeling. When he was shot towards Eggman's scouting robots. He gripped Stephanie's key tightly as he rolled into a little hedgehog ball and hit the ground. Bouncing slightly, Soul rolled along the ground for quite a while before slowing down. The slightly altered physics of this world allowed Soul to become fairly indestructible in a ball, but it "Augh, that hurt like hell..." Soul mumbled as he unraveled himself in the gutter. Laying there with various scratched, he gripped the key and waited for it's healing effects. He blinked as he looked at the last rays of twilight fading from the city. Moving his head, he tried to see if he could see Margy.

"Soul-kun overboard!" Margy called out, as she slammed her feet on the ground and attempted to skid to a stop and turn around to find Soul once again.
Looking about quickly, Margy allowed her dark brown eyes to scan the area as she attempted to figure out where her hedgehog friend had flew off to.
"let's see...Soul flew out of the cart near pot hole...so.." she blinked and began to look around. "Hmmm." she blinked and continued to search.
"Soul-kuuuun!" Margy called out once again and began to roll the cart forward, looking her lost friend.
"Soul-kuun! Where are you?" she asked, and quickly began to roll the cart forward again--creating the familar, rattling sound that only the cart could make due her bursts of speed.

Soul could hear Margy clearly as she wheeled about. He looked up and down and noticed he had rolled in between two cars as he lay in the gutter. Sighing slightly, the key helped him enough to get over his initial dizziness quicker then he should have and moved to get up. He laughed as he looked at his gloves a moment, noting huge scuffs. Had it not been for the gloves, his hands and knuckles might have broken or been severely lacerated on the gravel. "Just one of those things.." He mumbled as he stood up and walked back out to the road. Waving Margy over, he sighed and shook his head. "Please watch were you're going next time, Margy. I know it's fun and all, But I don't want to take another chance at breaking my neck."

"Margy sorry." Margy said as the cart slowly rolled to a stop in front of Soul, allowing him to climb in whenever he was ready. "Margy didn't know what it was until it was to late--she be more careful-avoid things she's not sure what they are." the hyperactive hamster gave a quick nod and gripped the handle to the cart, adding her own engine sound effects in the process.
"Voooom vooom!!" Margy shoved the cart forward and began to charge down the street at full speed, determined to make up for the time that they lost when Soul went flying.
"Zooom vooom vooom!!" the hamster laughed and picked up a bit more speed, having no idea at all of which way they were supposed to be heading at the point--the fact that she was horrible at directions only added to situation.

Soul shook it off. "I'm fine. Just be more careful next time." He muttered, before Margy took off. Soul blinked, unsure of what exactly went on in the hamsters head to go speeding off so quickly... without him. Turning around, Soul could easily see the casino only a block off, and shrugged. Margy would notice she took off without her cargo and come looking for him. Soul looked behind him a moment before walking towards the casino at a reasonable pace. At least now he could formulate a plan on just what the hell he expected to do if things go wrong tonight.

"Heke?" Margy questioned as she found the cart reasonably light and very easy to push. Staring into the front of the cart, the hyperactive hamster blinked a bit as she found it empty--the brownish-red hedgehog was missing.
"Cargo error! Cargo error--passenger lost." Margy called out as she quickly wheeled the cart around and began to make her way back towards the area she had left Soul--trying to figure out how she managed to pull it off.
Margy was sure that Soul-kun was inside... she thought to herself as she continued to push the cart forward. So how did Soul-kun not get in....it's a mystery!
"A mystery!" the hamster repeated out loud, having yet to consider the possibility that she had left him behind before he had a chance to climb inside.
"Soooulll-kuun." Margy called out as she found the area where she had last seen him empty. "Margy was sure he was here." she muttered and began to move forward again. It didn't take very long before she finally caught sight of him and began to make her way over--riding the cart like a scooter as she allowed it to roll forward--kicking off the ground every now and then to make sure it continued moving.
"Margy found Soul-kun...again." she said. "Sooo...does Soul-kun have a plan?" she questioned a second later.

He shook his head. Soul hadn't a clue what he was going to do. "No, I really don't, Margy. Maybe it was the rattling of the carriage, maybe because it's a culmination of what's happened the last few days, but I can't seem to keep a thought straight." He explained, crossing his arms as he walked. He was now just a block away from the Casino, and the giant structure lit of the streets all around. The Casino was more like a resort by it's sheer size. Much different then the games. "Sonic is probably going to formally request the Chaos Emerald. He's saved the world a couple times, so outside some political delays, he'll probably get it without much problem. The problem here is that we know Eggman will ambush Sonic and Tails with some sort of sleep gas, and he's not just gonna let them... stay there, knocked out. Eggman will probably take them prisoner, or kill them." He explained. Sighing, he shook his head again. "Something like this needs a plan. But... eh, I'm not even sure what's gonna go down tonight. I'll just wing it." He said finally. "Things tend to go my way when I do." He added.

"Hmmm..." Margy placed her finger on her chin as she began to ponder about it--trying to figure out how she could help her friend figure out what to do in the situation that they found themselves in. The hamster didn't know much when it came to plans--but if there was one thing she knew--she was better for distractions and getting peoples attention--though that probably wasn't the best option in this situation.
"That's what Margy always does--uh-huh." Margy said with a quick nod. "The whole winging it thing, to much thinking otherwise...and it usually works anyway." she explained before giving him a bit of a grin. "And margy doesn't think distraction would work." she mumbled out as she pondered about it for a bit longer.
"We could sneak in like ninja!" Margy exclaimed, sounding completely serious for a moment. "...But Margy isn't sure where we're supposed to go from there." she added in with a bit of a laugh as she rubbed the back of her head.

Soul raised an eyebrow. And how would they go about sneaking in, anyway? Walking across the road to the Casino, Soul realized that there was almost no one anywhere, not even cars. There seemed to have been a few people that stayed around during the crisis here, and he was willing to bet some of the black SUV's near the entrance were military personal sent here to guard the Emerald. Stroking his chin, he turned to Margy. "I think it's a safe bet Sonic will be entering and exiting through the main entrance. He thinks he's got a fair headstart on Robotnik at this point, so no need for secrecy." He explained, before getting an idea. "How about we just do a stake out? We wait to see what happens, and if things go south, we make our move? With your enhanced speed and my... uh." Soul stopped, realizing he really had nothing to offer if things went south. Well, unless they recreated to bot-smashing trick from before. "Uh. Ball mode." Is all he muttered in the end.

"But Margy wanted to be a ninja..." Margy whined out softly as she heard as she looked away from him and pouted--only to completely forget about the subject a second later as Soul attempted to figure out what exactly they were going to do for a plan.
"oooh Ball mode." Margy said. "Margy likes that idea--she had fun last time we used ball mode--it was fun to watch Soul-kun fly--yep yep yep." the hamster stated quickly as she gave her friend a wide grin. As long as he had the necklaces, she knew he was okay--and as long as she knew he was okay, she didn't have to worry about him...it was as simple as that.
"Soul-kun has smarts too." Margy said as she pointed at her head. "He smarter than Margy anyway." she continued as she kept her finger against her head for a bit longer, still grinning happily.
"How will we know when something happens?" she questioned a second later as she stared at him, then over towards the main entrance to the casino then back towards Soul once again, blinking curiously.

"I'm thinking large explosions, deadly fire and general disarray. That seems to be Eggman's calling card." He muttered darkly. He wondered if Margy actually knew how these things worked. All her experiences were from games and shiny objects in the sky. "In any case, I don't think Sonic's left here yet. I wouldn't take the events of the game as fact, but I do know a Chaos Emerald is here at the Casino. It was on exhibit recently." He explained. He thought about it a bit more and mentioned, "Probably why Eggman even decided to attack Station Square today. Evacuate and thin the numbers out so he can waltz right in and take it himself."
