Kitty came down fromt the dormintories in time to hear Schnerkel's question. "I'm going too!" She smoothed the skirt on her new dress, "I'll pick up a copy of the Hogwarts Monthly on my way out, I can't wait to read it!" She waved and left.

"Me too!" Siobhan gushed, twirling around so her skirt flew about and settled back down. "I've been doing some dancing, but I'm not terribly good. I've gotten a watch, a ribbon, and a bow tie. At least the ribbon and tie are Gryffindor colours! How about you?"

"Ah I missed the ribbon because I entered in to that contest - now I wish I would have gotten the ribbon but missed the bow tie," Schnerkel retorted with a small sigh at the end. "But it's no matter because I got this gorgeous necklace after beating 15 songs in a row!" Schnerkel gushed as she pointed to the one she was currently wearing, "And it's Gryffindor colors too - maybe Gaia just favors our house!" 3nodding
"And that's a good idea, Kitty! I want to read the HM as well. I had meant to submit something, but my tests got in the way - at least I already have an idea for next issue!" the first year said with some excitement. "And all of you look absolutely stunning! I actually had an outfit on sort of like yours Siobhan, but then I switched it after realizing how silly we would look next to each other."

Selene twirled around aimlessly then plopped herself down on the couch.
I've been doing a bunch of dancing too. I got all the items you guys listed, plus the monarch crown. Then I got stumped. Darn. I think I'll run and get some fruity drinks and muffins for us. Just in case we're hungry or need to cool off. Be right back.

"What's wrong with being twins?" Siobhan laughed. "Well, then I'm glad I didn't buy that dress yet, or we would have shown up in the same thing twice in a row! But the necklace is the best yet, I just got it. A crown is next? I can't wait! Well, I'll wait for a drink and a muffin, at least."

Ann screamed, "I can't believe I almost missed this event! I'm so scatterbrained for the last few days." She hugged everyone a huge hello and flounced off to see what this prom was about.

Hayden fell back on a chair relaxing. "Between homework, and the prom I thought I would never get any rest. At least I made it to the prom, and I got ALL my work turned in." Taking a deep breath and letting it out slowly she closed her eyes to relax.

Kitty trailed in yawning and flopped down in a chair across from Hayden. "Well, that was somewhat interesting, though my slow internet kinda ruined the experience. gonk It took a while to load. stressed Oh, well, so did anyone get the crown? Or am I just a failure at keyboard DDR? xp "

Ann waltz in, "I was so surprised that it had keyboard DDR. I used to play it all the time. I think Gaia's events just get cooler every year. I got the crown minutes before they shut down the event."

"I got a crown, too! You know, Kitty, you can get one off the Marketplace if you just want to own one. You might want to keep an eye on them, though, to see if they'll get cheaper," Siobhan suggested. "Oh, and there's a petition floating around about making future events more slow-internet-connection friendly by having forum options. If you want, you could sign it and hope for the best."
Edit: "Oh, sorry, I guess we were trying to talk at the same time. This summer I'm doing SuWriMo- it's like NaNo or SF but the whole summer, taking a trip to San Fransico, probably going to visit my grandparents in Orange County and, finally, going to a Writer's Convention in Oregon this August! That's in addition to reading a few books, of course. You?"

"Urgh, slow internet...I'm on one of those right now. Usually I'd be on DSL, but I'm not in my dad's house." Ann wrinkled her nose in distaste, "This summer I'm planning on reading (Breaking Dawn, of course) and plenty of road trips."
