Ketsu Nioi (Smell of Blood)
The Hoshigaki floods his gills and nose with chakra to boost their sensitivity. Allows the user to smell the blood of any bleeding target from great distances and allows him to know their location without having to see them.

Hiru knew the next part was going to be about finding the locations of the bloodied target, but the smell of the putrifying blood from that fish market was so disgusting he couldn't even bare staying this close to it for this exercise, Hiru walked away along the river for a few moments until that smell died down a bit so he could resume his training.
d20 [15] + Ninjutsu [35] = 50 (pass)
Now, he wasn't sure how exactly he would do this. He knew he needed blood, so he'd have to start with that. Hiru lightly bit his finger until a small amount of blood started creeping out of the wound. He raised his hand over the river and let a few drops drip into it. As soon as the light current took hold of it, Hiru flooded his gills with chakra to try and follow the path of his blood.
d20 [19] + Ninjutsu [35] = 54 (pass)
He noticed that following it in the air was possible, as he now had a much clearer idea of where his blood had now spread amonst the current. However, he had always heard that this technique worked especially well when water carried the hemoglobine to the smell receptors. Of course, the idea of jumping into the blood river wasn't very appealing, but it was for the sake of training.

Hiru therefore dove into the red river and tried to spot his own blood into it. In an instant, Hiru was almost blasted away. There were so many different blood types in this water that he could just barely find his own. He knew the executions on the Hoshigaki grounds were made just up the stream but man, that was a foul place to dip your gills into.

However, the water did serve its purpose. Even though Hiru could now smell literally hundreds of different sources of blood, he could very easily follow his own blood that had now drifted about one hundred meters down the stream. Of course, it had now spread over a large volume of water and had stuck to the sides of the river, but he could have spotted even more easily if it had been a single target.

Hiru leaped out of the water and try smelling for his blood one last time. For some reason, the smell came from... his arm? Hiru checked his arm to see if he was wounded but all he found was a slight bump under his shirt. He put his hand under it to find... a leech, firmly attached to his skin. Hiru panicked, running around and trying to get rid of it.---------------------------------------------- "Please stop doing that...", a voice said.----------------------------------------------  "..."

"Kid? Tsch." He walked to the river's edge and noticed how the water was red. He lifted a brow up in the indication of slight interest. He looked at the Hoshigaki standing next to him.
"You look familiar now, aren't you that p***y?" He pointed at him, and had this look of though on his face, which wouldn't look pleasant at all to any non-Hoshigaki. Because he looked like he was hungry and sick at the same time. He also noticed now that he had a Samehadamaku on his back, which he found odd. He figured they pitied him enough to let him have it, or he is actually was a good shinobi.
(I think I make a Hoshigaki XD)

"Of course...", Hiru couldn't help but think after that kid's remark. And to think he actually wondered why he didn't come here more often.
Hiru, not really knowing what to reply to such a salutation simply looked at the kid for a while. He was very tall for his age but still pretty young, and he seemed obsessed with his Samehadamaku. "Are you going to tell me your name or are you going to stand there and insult me all day...?", he finally asked.

"I am Mizuiro, grandson of Patriarchs and Priests." He doesn't insult people much, unless he wanted to fight. He just thought he was pointing out a simple fact. He kept looking at the Samehadamaku, and wondered why the clan gave the spawn of the greatest of the Seven to the clan members. But he didn't think things over much, so he just gave a blank stare into the eyes of the Hoshigaki, which looked as if he trying to read him mind, but no, he was thoughtless now.

Once Shinzu arrived at the compound he had to look around for a moment beforer he found Hiru talking to some other sharkman. "Hey Hiru." He walked right up to Hiru with out giving the other guy a second look befor he whipered in Hiru's ear "I found something out." He told him in a very hushed tone before turning around to look at the guy. "Who are you?" He asked with a questioning look on his face, he'd seen plenty of thier kind around but he was new, at least to Shinzu he was.

When Hiru heard the Hoshigaki give his full denomination and lineage, and more specifically that he was the son of priests, he understood why this kid had an attitude, and also why he was apparently obsessed with his Samehadamaku.
Not entirely sure of what to add to this stagnant conversation, Hiru was glad to see the young Shinzu walk up to him and tell him he had information.
"That's great Shinzu!", Hiru replied. "What have you found out exactly?", he added.

"Mokujin-sensei said that some students of his had seen something like the crab we're looking for in a caravan on the road. That's all he knew, and I haven't seen Masanori so I don't know what he's found." He shrugged a little "I still don't see what's so important about some damn crab."

The information Shinzu had gotten was pretty vague but if it was joined to something more specific could prove very helpful. It was now obvious that the crab was on the move, but they had to know from where and, more importantly, to where.
Hiru laughed a bit when he heard Shinzu complain about helping crabs. "That's diplomacy Shinzu, if we help people out they will help us when we'll need them. Also, these crabs seem to like Masanori a lot in some strange way, if we're lucky our village might get an exclusive contract with them." Hiru took a few moments to see if Masanori was anywhere to be seen in the distance.
"Now what we have to do is find that Masanori, if the crab is on the move this probably means we have to hurry. I just hope he's found something more specific that will keep us from having to patrol every road of the Water Country...", Hiru concluded.

"Whoooo a contract with some crab your clan seem find delicious, are you sure there isn't somekind of ulterior movitve here?" Shinzu said sarcasticly as he eyed Hiru.
"Masanori said he was going to check out a bar to see if he could find out anything there. I'm not exactly where he went seeing as you both basicly told me what to do and disappeared." Shinzu then looked at the toher guy again. "Is he coming along or something, he doesn't look trained. Is he a student?"

"Hey you calling worm?!?" Shinzu said as he turned around and eyed the brute. "This worm is liable to wup your butt if he feels son inclined. This little worm could chop you up and make some shark stew!" He turned his head around to Hiru "No offense pal!" Shinzu's fists balled up slightly, this guy seemed cocky and was cruisin for a bruisin.

Mizuiro raised his left brow and frowned the other. He cracked his chin bone.
"Shark stew? Worse thing to say that worm." He didn't back down from anything, he was bred to fight, so he will fight. If the p***y Hoshigaki got in his way, he would punch him in the face without hesitation. he stepped forward towards the worm. He stretched a little bit.

Shinzu stretched himself lightly, it'd been awhile since he'd been in a fight, but he left his sword in it's sheath, no reason to pull it out now. He decided he'd just beat the b*****d down. "Strong Fist style!" Shinzu yelled as he ran towards the brute and aimed a punch right at his gut. He could tell this guy was new and that the Strong Fist style would be new to him.
