"Hey," Chloe greeted Ricardo with a nod, "You guys done in there?" she questioned, pointing offshore to the cargo ship that was approaching the dock, "Looks like our ride back to Canalave is just about here," she elaborated after a moment.
Chloe opted to recall her party for the moment, before Entreri and Mikami destroyed the dock. She left Lilie out, since the Chikorita would be small enough to stay out of her Pokeball while on the ship with little trouble.

Chloe turned, hearing a screech behind her. A Zubat dove at her, as she ducked out of the way, narrowly missing the kamizake bat. The sight of one outside slightly startled her, she had assumed that she had left all the bloodsuckers back in the mines.
"Ah, well, guess its extra training," she shrugged, before calling Lantis before her.

The Latios emerged from his Master Ball, hovering before Chloe for a moment while he sized up the Zubat. Not really impressed in the least, he shrugged. This shouldn't be difficult at all to take down.
"Kay, mind using Thunder?" Chloe asked the dragon, who nodded.
"Very well," he stated simply, folding his wings back as he shot up into the clouds, kicking up a wave of sand upon take-off. Once up in the upper levels of the clouds, which only took a few seconds for the speedy flier, he set to work. Upon his touch, the whisps of clouds gathered, following his commands as they darkened dangerously. It looked rather strange, seeing a thundercloud form in fast-motion.
Suddenly with a crack, several bolts of lightning flew from the cloud, striking the Zubat with dead aim. There was a sizzle, a screech, and the Zubat suddenly decided that perhaps attacking the girl on the beach hadn't been such a hot idea after all...
Lantis returned back to a more acceptable altitude, soaring over the beach in a lazy arc, as Chloe scooched over a few paces, examining the sands where the lightning had struck. Much of it had melted straight to glass.
"Wow..." she murmured, as Lantis smiled faintly.
"Showoff..." Lilie muttered, unable to not have her attention drawn by the sudden flash of lightning on the otherwise clear beachline.

By this time, the Wailord's Pride was close to docking, as the crew members hurried to pull in the sails, the cargo ship coming to an easy glide alongside the dock to Iron Island.

Felix squinted when they reached the bright light of day, until his eyes adjusted, and he kept his gaze locked on Vhan. Anywhere else was water.
"Sure why not." he said offhandedly. "I don't mind creepy places." Felix had never minded being scared, in fact, he rather enjoyed watching spooky movies, he just didn't like his reaction to being startled. He tended to jump about ten feet in the air, and become... fluffy.
The blonde's attention was caught by something over Vhan's shoulder, and he watched a beldum float about behind the other boy. It looked like the one he had encountered earlier, if he didn't miss his guess. He narrowed his dual colored eyes considerately. He had been able to catch that Steelix earlier, and he wanted that beldum...
Terra saw Felix's interest, and she immediately ran towards the steel and psychic type pokemon, hitting it with an earth power. The beldum let out a mental shriek, and then charged towards Terra. Felix threw a pokeball at the pokemon before it's attack could hit, and mentally crossed his fingers when the pokemon disappeared inside.

The pokeball twitched three times, and then burst open. The beldum charged towards Gigi, but the meowth was ready for it, and before it could hit, the cat like pokemon jumped up on the beldum, and clamped her teeth down on the part that looked kind of like an eye, biting hard. The two of them crashed into the sand as the steel type fainted.
Felix threw another pokeball.

Lilie saw Hino's hesitation at going out on the dock. She dashed ahead of Chloe a few paces until she was even with the Charmeleon.
"Come on, tail-light!" she grinned, "Its not scary, promise!" she assured him, although the rickety dock may prove to be a hindrance to her claim.
Chloe walked onto the dock, signaling the ship with a wave, "You did come back!" she laughed, as she saw Yoran's face above the railing. The captain smirked, shaking her head.
"What kind of captain would I be if my word couldn't be trusted," she shot back curtly, before turning to oversee the rest of the docking situation on deck.

She hopped off of the dock and back onto the sands, Lilie following after a moment. The Chikorita still wanted to see if she could get Hino to go out onto the dock, however.

"Wanna do a bit more training before we leave?" Chloe asked Lilie once she noticed the Chikorita tailing her, "This is probably the best place to train for a while until we get to Snowpoint, and even then, that place is crawling with ice types, so I don't think you'll do much battling," Chloe admitted.
Lilie nodded, it made sense. She didn't like the cold too much, so ice was definitely not going to agree with her.
"Well, let's head this way," Chloe pointed, motioning to the patch of forest that led to the other side of the island, "We won't go in too far, but I haven't been here yet, might as well to a tad more exploring before we set sail again," she smiled.
"Chika!" came Lilie's enthusiastic agreement. Perhaps she could find some more ammo in her plots with her trainer's love life.

Although the sunny beach was nice, Chloe breathed a contented sigh as she stepped into the shade provided by the trees. Lilie trotted along behind her, as the two left the sandy beach, and entered the scrub pines that dotted the dunes, before the forest thickened further. Chloe was sure to check her location on her Pokenav, to hinder any attempts by her horrid sense of direction to get her lost. The island was straightforward enough, she noted, as she zoomed in a bit on her map. So there was little worry of getting turned around.
"Even then, we could get Saku or Lantis to help us out with an aerial view," she reasoned aloud. She could probably rely on Mikami too, if he was in a helpful mood, but she had better hopes in her other two flying dragons than she did with the Flygon...

Brushing aside a fern that had been in her path proved to be the wrong move, as the Zubat that was hanging beneath it attacked, startled. Chloe opted to select Entreri for this battle. Mostly due to the fact that he was small enough to be able to fight in the confines of the forest without having too much trouble.
"Kay, you should know how to handle these Flying duals by now," Chloe called to the Weavile as he faced off against the bat. Entreri nodded absently, before diving in, claws flaring with a fog-like aura. Successfully coating his paws in a layer of ice, the Weavile struck hard and fast, leaping into the air to slash at the Zubat. He clipped the bat's wing, as the ice spread. The Zubat screeched, before countering with a Bite, which didn't hinder Entreri too much. The Weavile finished off the Zubat with one last Ice Punch, before returning to his Pokeball.

"Guess he's had enough of this sunny weather," Chloe commented absently, before realizing that Lilie wasn't next to her.
Said Chikorita had spotted something in the sand. Digging it up revealed a small flat disc. Curious, she lifted it up, not noticing any changes. However, it still sparkled. Happy with her find, she returned to Chloe, handing her the TM.
"Hm... its the TM for Focus Punch," Chloe commented, after examining the disc for a moment, "Cool. This'll definitely come in handy, thanks, Lilie!" Chloe grinned, as the Chikorita nodded happily.
