*Ran sighed as Glory's tears continued to fall. He held her close once again and let her cry. Outside, the rain had stopped, but it was still dreary in his small apartment. Ran had run out of things to say. He wanted to help Glory but she she didn't seem to be able to understand that she wasn't to blame. He tried to think harder. What could he do? Ran looked down at her and kissed her gently on the forehead, hoping that it would offer some sort of comfort*

The door opened slowly and Remmy stood in the doorway. She didn't mean to barge in on their special moment but she needed to talk to Glory. She was soaked from the earlier rain and her face was a bit furious, mostly at the fact that Glory was blaming herself. Fai was sitting on her shoulder looking equally displeased. She could sense Glory's inner emotions, and she disagreed with them. "Glory, don't say you should have sensed Franki, don't ever blame yourself for something beyond your control. You haven't been trained to sense others, that's why you couldn't do it, not because you have failings as a captor. These powers don't come overnight, and I should point out that complimenting elements sense each other, not opposites. The earth element would have sensed Franki's fall in power. It's you and I that are connected." she said. Remmy neglected to point out that she also had a strong connection with Franki, a freak coincidence no doubt.

*Ran looked up as his apartment door swung open. He narrowed his eyes at the newcomer from pure reaction. Another cardcaptor...and her element. That's just what he needed. He released Glory slowly and got to his feet, standing between Glory and Remmy* Can I help you? I don't recall inviting anyone.

Remmy looked over at Ran. "My name is Remmy, and I don't care if you invited me. I happen to be the captor who chained you down with my fire ropes so don't take me lightly." she said, glaring at him.
Fai ruffled his feathers and flew over to land on Glory's shoulder. He rubbed against her gently in a comforting way. "And I am Fai, Glory's guardian. In case you have forgotten, Remmy's guardian is a salamander, not a bird." he said indignantly. As much as he liked Remmy, mostly for trying to protect his master, it annoyed him to be thought of as her guardian.

I don't care who you are you...! *Ran cut his sentence short and extended his arm, as if sheilding Glory* I don't appreciate the fact that you just barge into my home! *Ran gritted his teeth. He remembered her now. Sure she was powerful, but that didn't change the fact that she had come into his home unannounced*

Remmy sighed. "The fact remains that I am Glory's friend and the posture you happen to be in speaks of protecting her from me. This is offensive to me. However, I would not have come here unanounced or without permission except that I need to talk to Glory." she said, not really caring what Ran thought of her as she had never been much of a social butterfly.
Fai hopped off of Glory's shoulder onto the floor and immediately transformed into his guardian form. His fists were clenched. "Don't be getting mad with Remmy because there's something crazy going on with the cards, it's not her fault! What happened to Franki just proves that they need to learn to control the cards." he said, ignoring the fact that Ran was one of La Mort's.

As Ran held Glory she stopped crying. His light kiss on her forehead cheered her up but only a tiny bit. It's not that she didn't like it. It was just she was still coming down hard on herself for what happened to Franki. She was surprised to see Remmy and Fai come into Ran's appartment. She said nota word as Ran, Fai and Remmy exchanged words. She did nothing as Fai tried to comfort her and the same could be said for Remmy.
Glory just looked down, they being Ran, Fai and Remmy were fighting because of her. She slowly looked up facing the three of them. She was getting close to teh breaking point of having an emotional break-down again. "Ran, Remmy, Fai please!.....please...let's stop arguing....." she spoke pleading in her soft tone while she placed a hand on Ran's shoulder so he could lower his arm.

Remmy was still glaring at Ran. "I'm not fighting with him Glory, I'm glaring at him. And don't blame yourself, I'm not trying to comfort you, just trying to tell you the truth. We need to go, we have to talk to Li about the cards. Sorry to pull you away but I felt that nightmare you had." she said.

'..nightmare?...felt more like a glimpse into the future if we failed...' Glory thought to herself. She gave a slight nod to Remmy. They were going to have to tell Li about Franki...Glory could already picture how crush the man will be...after all Franki was like a daughter to him.

Remmy nodded. "This isn't going to be pretty, that I can assure you." she said. Telling Li about Franki would not be fun.

Glory looked down and her heart began to feel heavy. Remmy and her would have to tell Li what happend to Franki....and remembering how the old man acted, he was probaly going to blame Glory and Remmy for not sensing something was wrong, shut himself competly off....or....something far much worse. Glory knew she would have to go with Remmy, but she didn't want to leave Ran, he could come with them..but she knew it would push Li more over the edge to see Ran.

*Ran slipped on a jacket and rubbed his nose with his thumb* Well if you're going, then I'm going to. *Ran snuffed at Remmy then looked to Glory* I'm not sure what you're talking about failing at, but if I can help in anyway, just let me know. *Ran smiled kindly, unknowing that if they were going to fail, it be by his doing*

Glory saw Ran's smile and gave a ver small smile back even though her heart was still heavy. She turned her head to Remmy and Fai. "..I guess we should get going....to tell Li I mean..." she said as she tucked some of her hair behind an ear. Beginning to feel uneasily about teh confermation with Li on Franki.

: razz yralis remains silent as all of his is going on, deciding to allow his mistress to do what she needs to, currantly in salamander form::
::at the hospital Frank slowly swims back to counsiousness, where she's greeted by the happy sobs of her family and rushed off to testing... the doctors couldn't figure out what had happened to her... though she knew very well what did. she apparently wasn't out for too long, but those few short hours she was out had done their damage...::

Remmy shrugged when Ran said he was coming. "If the geezer tries to kill you, it's not my fault." she said, turning and walking out the door. As she waited for Glory and Ran she leaned against the railing. "Pyralis, why can't I ever get along with anyone? Am I too forceful or something?" she asked, closing her eyes.
