She opened her mouth to reply, and then realised she had no idea just what to say. She shook her head, trying to blink back the tears that were welling up in her eyes.

Nalini straightened up too, and hastily wiped her cheek as a small teardrop fell from her eye.
'Where we left off...I attacked that girl. Killed her. Azlyn found me, and so did the girl's father. We were taken away to be burnt alive,' Nalini shakily explained. 'Anything after that, you can guess.'
She ported out, before he had the chance to reply.

Nalini ported into the lab, half expecting to see MK already waiting for her, and instead found it was...empty.
She sighed and sat down on the bed, after shedding her labcoat and boots, and waited for him to arrive.

*MK ported in and smiled when he saw that Nalini was seated there on the bed. He removed his coat and boots and moved over to her*
