After she and Ayami were done eating, she could see their priest walking towards them. "Are you Inuyasha and Kagome?" he asked. "Yes, we are," Kagome replied. "Are you ready to be wed?" he asked. Kagome looked at Inuyasha. "Are we?" she asked him.

She smiled. "Okay then," the priest said. They both stood up, Ayami in Kagome's right arm, Inuyasha's hand in her left hand. "Inuyasha, do you wish to marry Kagome, forever and eternity, as long as you love each other?" the priest asked.

The priest turned to Kagome. "And Kagome, do you wish to marry Inuyasha, forever and eternity, as long as you love each other?" he asked. "I do," she said. "You may now kiss the bride," he said and smiled cheerfully. Kagome turned to Inuyasha and smiled at him, a tear of joy in her eyes.
