Natasha sighed.
"To put it simply, I have a dark side. It was dormant through most of my childhood but has grown stronger. I've only ever had it take over me when I've been fully aware, it must be getting even stronger...but it's still me and the only way to kill it is to kill me."
She turned back to Amber and began to stroke her again, feeling comfort in the warm feathers.

He rubs his chin, thinking. He snaps his fingers, coming to a decision. He pulls a small key out of his pocket, handing it to Natasha.
