He tore loose a large clump of weeds and threw them on the growing pile, staring at it as he continued to speak. "How could Dravyn let something inferior exist?" His head raised. Formerly calm eyes, now hardened and bitter, fixed on Jerome. "It's a deadly world he lives in, any sign of weakness is a signal for everyone to attack and devour. His life, the life of everyone at the Sh'kkiahar, depends on his reputation. And his reputation is for being an evil, ruthless b*****d who gives and receives only the best." "But I still don't understand why they can't just be sent elsewhere...certainly inferior things will exist no matter what he does, why can't they just exist somewhere else? What's the use of destroying them?" Jerome had stopped pulling weeds and just sat looking at Sol, confused.

No. It IS the best." Sol reached over and help up a handful of pulled weeds. "These weeds are inferior no? You do not put them elsewhere. You kill them so they will not destroy your garden. But the weeds not in your garden, you pay them no mind."

For the first time since they met, Sol had called Jerome by his given name instead of "priest" and he wasn't even aware of it. "If it is any consolation, they do not suffer at the end. It is quick and painless."

But would it surprise you to learn that many kill to work there?"

Usako-san Adonis pulled Atoshi's chin up gently, kissing his once then slowly backing up, "Whenever you need anything, I'm here for you..." Adonis walked into the church, and dissapeared behind a corner. (your avatar is looking SO cool Usako!) Atoshi watchs him go, his tail had unwinded again and was now flickering back and forth. He heads into the church as well, heading for the kitchen. (He likes to eat sweatdrop )

Atoshi sat at the table picking at an apple his mind on one man. He understood what he was saying but it still hurt. He had never meet a man that.. well he could trust. He pulls at the skin of the apple, he didn't really like fruits but he didn't want to make anything so he was stuck with it. Adonis had such a nice smile though.. Atoshi smiles at the thought, a slight blush coming to his cheeks.

LQ Aoshi_3LD (("pout* Your not making this easy for me...)) Aki jumped slightly as he flew up. "Hey, could you get me up there...?" (it'ss Rio...he makes everything difficult. Sol: -_-;;; Indeed. get backto the rp! *boots him back to the rp* Rio: XD!! *cackles at his brother* You too b***h! *kicks him back to the rp*) Rio sat still for so long and was so quiet it seemed he was going to ignore the kitsune. His immitation of a statue ended when he loosed his whip again. It dangled, much much longer than it had been in the house and with an almost casual flick, the incubus had it wrapped around Aki's waist. A strong, but strangely gentle pull and Aki was on the roof. The whip rolled up on it's own as if it was a snake and Rio attatched it to his side again. His attention was still on the panorama before him, but breifly he flicked his gaze over to make sure Aki wasn't going to fall. One assured the kitsune wasn't going to take a spill, Rio went back to his silent viewing. "Thanks." Aki smiled and adjusted himself, brushing some hair from his face and fixing his Ukata so it didn't ride up. ((It's short enough in the first place... XP)) He swung his feet and smiled at the sun for awhile before the eeri silence got to him. "Hrm..." Aki fidgeted slightly. The silence made him a little edgy and he looked over to Rio for a moment, then went back to swinging his legs boredly, staring into his lap for lack of something better to do.

But would it surprise you to learn that many kill to work there?" "Yes, it would," The priest replied, looking towards the sky. The morning was getting on and the sun was starting to beat on his black cassock which annoyed him. He stood, still looking at the sky and noticed Rio and Aki sitting on the roof. Jerome smiled and called up to the pair, "Hey, would you mind staying up there for a few months? The church could use some decoration!" From where he was, Rio was backlit by the sun and his features were blurred, looking like a statue that would decorate a great gothic church.
